Just 10 minutes west of downtown Colorado Springs come enjoy our completely renovated Turn-of-the-Century home at the base of Pikes Peak Cog Railway, the Manitou Springs Incline & Barr Trail. Your journey into the past will begin as you come up steps to a beautiful natural stone porch where you can sit and enjoy breakfast or a nice cup of coffee while you listen to the mountain stream just steps away.

Just beyond the entrance is a wine cellar, two bedrooms and a full bath. Up the stairs is the main level and an open kitchen complete with maple cabinets, hard wood floors, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen opens up to a wonderful back patio with a barbecue and comfy chairs to relax and watch people as they ascend the Incline. Two family rooms and a dining room all with great views on each side of the kitchen provide wonderful places for everyone to relax and have a great time.

In one of the family rooms you will find a breakfast nook great for breakfast or a snack while people watching or playing board games. A 42 inch TV and wide comfy dark brown couches are perfect in the other living room for sitting around watching a movie or playing video games on the 360. (Yes, we even have Rock Band!) The dining room table is a dark natural wood and is a perfect fit for 8. A half bath is also located on this level.

On the upper level are two master suites both with king sized beds. One bedroom features a built in armoire with a cedar interior and a great reading nook while the main master has a separate shower, claw foot tub and gas fireplace as well as a reading nook of it's own. This house features both wireless and air conditioning. Located at the base of Pikes Peak next to tons of trails, this home is sunny and has amazing mountain views.

A Historic Preservation Award Winner, this home really does offer the best of both worlds, 19th century character & 21st century amenities.

Great girls getaway!

This property was a large home which was ideal for three sisters and their daughters. We enjoyed the benefits of having a fully-equipped kitchen although a few more wine glasses and a better functioning faucet would have been appreciated. We loved the views from the upstairs deck and the coziness of the porch. More comfortable furniture on both would have made them even more enjoyable. The location was convenient and we would recommend this as a great getaway for any large group.

Excellent location. Two minute walkTo the Cog and incline.

A beautiful house. Our family consisted of eight adults and eight children. (Three seven year olds, two four year olds, one three year old, one two year old and one one year old. Plenty of sleeping space with a couple of blowup beds. Plenty of living space. Back

Patio and front porch were very pleasant morning and evenings. Free shuttle directly across the street that comes by every twenty mins. or so. It takes you down to main

Manitou shops, restaurants, etc. There was easy parking for the house for four vehicles. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils, plates, pans etc. I can't say enough about the great time we had. Paige was wonderful and always easy to get a hold of. All of us would highly recommend staying in Paige's house.

Great Property with lots of Room!

The house has lots of room with many levels - everyone had a space of there own. Beds are large and comfortable...kitchen is complete with all needs - the house has been update, very clean and well maintained. The property is at the trailhead of the Inline /Barr Trail/and Pikes Peak rail Incline - so lots of traffic & people coming for early morning workouts...but the main reason we choose the location...we could walk out the front door and start the Incline & Barr trail. The main road in Manitou Springs in town was more of an issue - always clogged and slow. But for the trail access and value we would definitely stay here again. The property owners - very easy to work with and kept us up to date prior to our arrival. Overall - great vacation property!

Family winter vacation.

The description of the house was very accurate and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the home was. The home was spacious and clean as well. The location was perfect, walking distance from the cog railway Pikes Peak and near the shops of Manitou Springs. Garden of the Gods was not very far either. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend!!!

Wonderful spot! Will book again.

Loved the house and how close it is to the train, incline and coffee shop. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the incline climbers pass by. Everything we needed was stocked. Great place to cook family dinners and play cards!
