I have been living in Southwest Florida for the past seven years and truly have fallen in love with Fort Myers. This is our second home and we love spending time on river whenever possible. It is the ultimate way to relax and escape from the world.
The Owner purchased this house in 2010
We bought this property because of the amazing sunsets and privacy. We are also only minutes away from all of the exceptional restaurants and entertainment of the Downtown Fort Myers River District.
We love to kayak out to the private islands and suntan on the beach! There is never anyone on the islands!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks. It is a lovely home. Very updated with high quality amenities. The owner, Michael, met us there personally and walked us through the home making sure we had no questions. He phoned a couple days later to make sure we had no problems. The view is fabulous and the construction going on next door never disturbed us. The only negative is there are no restaurants or bars in the immediate area. You have to drive several miles to find these things. All in all, we loved the home and would stay again.
We are back for our fourth year in a row, and absolutely love this place. We were totally shocked at reading the previous negative review. The home is in beautiful condition, as it has been the last three years. . . clean and updated. The owner has answered our every call promptly, and has taken care of any concern we had. The setting is peaceful and perfect. We hope to return again next year.
Great place with great view. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful sunset right off the private patio.
House is very well maintained and is equipped with everything one may need while vacationing with kids. We were skeptical at first after reading negative review of someone who stayed there previously - but it all turn out to be untrue. House is very clean, not even one bug noticed during our 6 day stay. Mike - the owner was very accommodating about our late night arrival, and last minute check out. He is very easy to get a hold and and very helpful .
House is conveniently located - just minutes away from Fort Meyers down town. We will definitely come back and stay in this home while vacationing in Fl again.
We stayed in this home from November 21st to December 19. This is our fourth year renting this wonderful house. We have always found the owner, Mike, to be responsive when we need anything. We love the view of the Caloosahatchee River and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub after working at ECHO in North Ft. Myers each day. The house is conveniently located whether you are sight seeing in Ft. Myers or dining downtown. We love this vacation home and plan to stay there again and again. Thanks to Mike and Maria for making our stay so pleasant.
I was so disappointed when we drove up to this house. We needed a place for a week in between our other vacation homes. I tried several times to get a hold of the owner he never returned my calls or my texted. Finally he answered his phone. The first morning I went to kitchen to make coffee bugs were on counters. there was so many ants in kitchen and other bugs. I cleaned every drawer and cabnet out washed everything dishes ect. If you don't like spiders don't sit by the pool. It took 4 cans of cleaner to clean outside pool furniture just so you could sit on it. full of spiders and above pool major spiders and around sliding doors. There were two of the rod iron chairs broke thank goodness we noticed them sat them to the side. Way to many fake plants in the house full of dust. The bricks by pool area so many of them are lose and need fixed. The pool area was so dirty. There were tiles gone in master bath under sink. Not a good area at all. In the hall bathroom be very careful to pull on knob to make shower work the faucet is lose from the wall. There are so many things that need to be fixed in this house. I wanted to leave the next day but we couldn't get into our place in the keys. My husband talked me into staying. Worse place I have ever rented. The outside of the house needs tender loving care. Now they are getting ready to build on the empty lots next to house so that will be an issue for future renters. But the owner doesn't tell you that. To many bugs for me there. I would not recommend this property.
We spent a month in this home while we were searching for a property to purchase. We are professionals who work from home and must say we thoroughly enjoyed the view of the Caloosahatchee while we worked on the weekdays. I almost felt guilty that I got to stare out at the river while I was working. We saw dolphin, fish feeding frenzies, an alligator swim by, lots of birds and beauty. Sunsets were absolutely stunning! The pool and patio were heavenly...it's where we spent the majority of our time. The home is extremely clean, close to downtown, and had everything we needed. Mike is extremely nice and very responsive if you have a question or problem with anything (both before and during your stay). The house has a great layout, comfortable beds, great televisions, wi-fi, and all the amenities you need in a "home away from home". Had we not purchased a property in FL while we were there, we would definitely rent this home again.
