Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We really enjoyed this house! You can walk along Agate beach which adjoins Nye Beach in Newport. Although this property is setback from the beach by one house, it is protected from the wind. I've rented oceanfront before in Newport, the wind can be a real problem. Try La Maison for breakfast! A real find! The hot tub is a huge bonus! And, because this house is protected from the wind we could use it nightly.
Bedding was dirty and floors had dog hair and a ball of hair on the rug to one of the rooms. If it wasn't for that it would of been a very nice home. I had to wash the bedding set on my vacation was not something I had in mind.
The vacasa reps were helpful and always got back to me when I contacted them, and they answered and questions I had. The house was not horrible by any means, just was kind of let down when we arrived and it was not like explained on the website. Not nearly the amenities that were said to be in the house as far as kitchen utensils, as well as no trash can in the kitchen and the big trash can was full when we got there. And then we went to use the BBQ and the tanks were empty so we had to go to the local fuel station before we could use them. The house is fine if you do not plan on spending much time on the beach or want a good view of the beach.
This house needs a major rehaul. Rusted windows, old pots & pans, sad looking bedding. Unfortunately we had issues with house cleaning that wasn't done. It's a long, slippery, and at times steep walk down to the beach (and climb back up) - important to know for mobility-challenged guests. If you're a young family with a dog and on a budget, then it would probably be a good fit. The beach was beautiful & you can walk all the way to the end around the corner from the lighthouse. The location is close to Highway 101 which is handy for services, groceries, etc.
good home, nice kitchen, great location, can see ocean
Great house! Great location! Hot tub worked and the place was perfect for the dogs! Couldn't figure out how to get the AC working or it didn't work, but the house was comfortable and suited us perfectly! Three beds downstairs with access to dog patio and a restroom, two bedrooms upstairs each with own bathrooms! Bring garbage bags and ziplock bags!
