The common areas of the living area, kitchen, outdoor dining and pool areas all provide plenty of space for each member of your group. In addition to the fabulous design and layout of this home, the location could not be better. Love Lane is a tiny cul-de-sac off of Southard Street in Old Town, just two blocks from Duval Street, and this home sits at the very end. There will never be sounds of street noise here – only the sea breezes through the palm trees that line the road and surround the home.
***This home is available for lease by the month, in accordance with local ordinances strictly enforced by the City of Key West. The minimum lease is for 27 nights in February and for 29 nights during any other period.
Imagine your home being just steps in either direction from all of the shops, restaurants, and sites of Duval Street and the Historic Seaport. Take a stroll or ride bicycles down to the best of Key West, two blocks down Southard to hit local favorites like The Café, Kojin Noodle Bar, Willie T’s and the Green Parrot. Two blocks down William and you’ll be at BO’s Fish Wagon or Schooner Wharf. Despite the fabulous location, this home comes with off-street parking in the form of a wide driveway, with space for two cars and all of the scooters, electric cars, and/or bicycles you need.
THE LIVING AREA & KITCHEN...
Entering through the front door you know immediately you are in a special home. The open living plan includes a grand living area with fantastic design pieces imported from Europe and comfortable furnishings, a chef’s kitchen with state of the art appliances, and sliding glass doors to a beautiful covered lanai with a view of the pool. Each piece of this home was designed and executed with unique touches, including the floors recovered from a turn of the century New Hampshire textile mill. The living area boasts a 50-inch flat screen HD smart TV, which you can watch from any number of plush, cozy seating options. The kitchen, custom built by a Master Shaker craftsman, is open to the living area and equipped with Wolf, Bosch, and Sub Zero appliances as well as upscale butcher blocks and plenty of cabinet space full of all of the tools you’ll need for a gourmet meal.
This home has two master suites: the first master bedroom is off of the living area with a King sized bed and a beautiful bathroom complete with a rain shower and unique decorative tile work. The first master bedroom also has a wall of floor-to-ceiling cabinets with a large flat-screen HD TV and DVD player, as well as sliding glass doors out to the pool area. The second master suite is down the opposite hallway off the kitchen, also with a King sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second master suite has a flat-screen HD TV and DVD player, large walk-in closet, and a doorway with access to a second front porch. The third bedroom is beside the second master suite, also with its own full bathroom. The third bedroom has a Queen sized bed. This bedroom also has a flat screen HD TV and DVD player. Above the kitchen there is a unique loft area accessible by a study, built-in ship’s ladder. The loft area has two twin beds that convert to a King upon request. There is also a library feature in the loft room.
THE LANAI & POOL AREA…
Through the sliding glass doors of the living area is one of the highlights of this home: the covered lanai and pool area. The covered outdoor dining area comfortably seats six for a poolside meal. Beside the dining table is an outdoor kitchen & wet bar, complete with a sink and plenty of storage. The pool is heavenly, with gorgeous tile work and a water feature that turns on with the simple push of a button. There is also a pool lounge area with comfortable chaises in a piece of deck that gets equal sunshine and shade. The backyard is complete with a large propane grill for an outdoor bar-b-que by the pool.

We had a wonderful stay at Southernmost Bliss. The home is clean & well appointed. It feels much larger than we imagined. It was very comfortable even with eight people in the house. We hosted some friends for dinner one evening. Again, the house was comfortable and well appointed enough for a casual meal at home with several friends. The service from Shel at Last Key was amazing, as well. Thank you!
Excellent vacation home experience. Great house with very comfortable accommodations. Private fenced in back yard leading out from the outdoor living room by the pool. Really great location in walking distance from anywhere you might want to go. Property is very well maintained and extremely clean. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable accommodation that is close to everything Key West has to offer but away from the crowds.
Exceptional property conveniently located in the heart of Old Town Key West. Walk or bike to almost everything. Close to restaurants, shops and Fausto's grocery (which offers delivery). Easy 5-6 blocks to Duval Street dining and night life. Home location is quiet & secluded. The property is beautiful and very well appointed, with all the necessary kitchen appliances and utensils. The outdoor dining area, which includes a large flat screen TV, is exceptional. The pool area is just right for cooling off in the afternoon or a late night refresher, with enough room to get in some exercise if you're so inclined. The sound of the pool's waterfall feature provides a nice relaxing background for time sunbathing, reading or napping. Bedrooms and baths are equally well appointed with above average linens. His attention to detail and prompt response was truly exceptional, and made our stay all the more enjoyable. If you are looking for an exceptional property in a prime location, this is the one. Before we booked this property we read all of the reviews and decided this house was for us. Everything everyone says is true! Perfect location, floor plan, furnishings are comfortable and beautiful! The pool area was very relaxing. The parking is advertised as 2 spots but they have to be small cars. Since I drive an Expedition there was not really room for another car. But that worked out fine for our group. The customer service that Last Key gives is over the top!! We had a couple small issues and they were taken care of immediately. The pool man comes weekly and was also excellent. The lawn guys also were excellent. Everyone treated us like we were family that had just arrived home. Will always rent from Last Key Realty. Can't wait for our next trip to Key West!
Southernmost Bliss is a beautiful property, ideally located and well-maintained. It's spacious and can accommodate a family or a few guests with no issues. The house is also clean, and the owners have considerately labelled light switches, shower nozzles, etc for the guests.
The back deck and pool are perfect, good light, and the pool is a great size.
I would say the house is even better than it photographs. I really loved it and will stay here again. Shel and Last Key were also terrific, helpful and communicative. I will miss this house!
After renting several properties from Last Key Realty, we decided to give Southernmost Bliss a try in June of 2016. Location is superb, sandwiched between Duval, the Seaport, and the Key West Cemetery on an absolutely quiet and undisturbed Old Town lane. The unit has ample parking, plenty of area to store rented bicycles, and space for quiet night times walks with pets. The interior has been recently and thoughtfully updated throughout. Three bedrooms were perfect for our needs and all had nice decor, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. The backyard is likely the best we've had in our many rentals in Key West. It has a nice large deck, perfect sized pool for casual dips, and an outstanding outdoor eating area which includes a large table for 6 people, refrigerator, cable tv, etc. The backyard completely private and well-landscaped, as you have a tendency to forget you are in the heart of Old Town. The property was absolutely clean and well-maintained. It is short walking distance to many local eateries including, Michael's, Sarabeth's, Mangia Mangia, and 5 Brothers Coffee Shop.
As mentioned, we have rented several places in Key West and most rentals have their pro's and con's. I struggle to fault this property with anything. It is a luxury property, absolutely maintained well, and delivered a quality vacation for our family. Our main point of discussion is when to take the time off to rent it again!
