For antique lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, you will especially appreciate the attention to detail in this restored antique cape and easy access to VAST and hiking trails. A very unique original copper bath tub, stained glass lights in dining room, living room and kitchen. Soapstone sink in kitchen and marble sinks in bathrooms - this home will take you back, while making you feel very comfortable. The cook stove is electric, but looks like it could have been there a hundred years back with the original farmers.
Hiking trails, fishing in the babbling brook, easy access to VAST trails.

Peace, tranquility, a restored farmhouse that is both charming and comfortable.
The owner was very helpful after our vehicle broke down. The place is very antique. One thing that would be nice is some couches to relax on. The current ones are more like a wide padded chair. The dolls were a nice compliment...
The house combines very nice antique touches (furniture, art, copper tub, flooring, ceiling beams, etc) with modern comforts (comfortable beds, washing machine, shower, etc). The property is quite large and has spectacular views. We would definitely stay here again.
Diann's home was amazing and gave us a sense of VT that we wouldn't have gotten if we stood anyplace else. From waking up early to the view and driving in the snow to the country store for breakfast supplies the whole weekend was great. We would definitely visit and stay here again.
I just got home to NJ from an amazing weekend in the most beautiful Vershire farmhouse and I already booked another weekend stay there for July! Everything was perfect. The owner took care of everything we could have possibly needed and more. The house was beautiful and all the kids loved the awesome land which they could run and play on all day.
I would highly recommend a relaxing weekend at the farmhouse where we sat on the porch in the evening and saw a beautiful sunset. It was so quiet, peaceful, fresh and clean. We enjoyed hiking and bird watching and taking in the breathtaking scenery!
My family had a great experience at this farmhouse. It is very comfortable and antique elegant at the same time. We enjoyed hanging out in the large eat-in kitchen and we also had a family celebration dinner in the formal dining room. There are a total of 5 comfortable double beds in 4 bedrooms, and the description posted is accurate.
The owner is a very thoughtful and attentive manager of the property, and is quite respected and well known in that part of Vermont.
The meadows on this property are gorgeous - so carefully maintained! Hiking up to the top of the upper meadow reveals a beautiful view across Vermont and into New Hampshire.
Nearby, in Post Mills Vermont, there is an excellent farm and farm stand called Cross Road Farm. If you visit between Memorial Day and October 10 or so, it is a good experience. (Right near Lake Fairlee, which is also a beautiful place.)
Quite frankly, you can't go wrong with this choice - my family highly recommends it to anyone looking for a beautiful experience in this part of Vermont.
This is our very favorite place in Vershire. The property owner is an absolute pleasure. The scenery we saw from the window was amazing. There has 4 bedrooms which is enough to sleep 8 to 10 people. The owner provided us a lot of things, such as, tableware, washing machine, paper tower. There had a snow storm when we arrived there. The owner is very nice to help us clean the snow. Also, it was excited that we see the galaxy in the night sky. We enjoyed our stay so much.
I will stay here again. Thank you Diann~
