The Los Angeles flat is located in the best neighbourhood of El Raval district, in Carrer del Pintor Fortuny right to the Ramblas, it`s the favourite of our guests!. With 120 sq mt2 available, the modern yet comfortable design in this flat along with the historic feel of the building will offer any and all a fabulous holiday.
Any photos capture the beauty of the intricate wood panelling on the ceiling, along with the fully restored wood framing around the doorways. The exceptional art deco flooring and lovely array of colouring on both the hanging prints and furniture along with the natural light from the street make this flat feel like home to those visiting Barcelona.
The modern kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, and ample dining area are spacious enough to cook and serve a grand feast for all. Multiple guests will enjoy the space and privacy of a full bathroom with a stall shower, tub and toilet. For added convenience there is an additional toilet. Two lovely and decorative bedrooms with full beds offer cosy sleeping quarters for up to four people. Should you have more guests in your pack, there is a lounge space off of the main living area that can be easily converted into a bedroom with a double sofa bed.
This quiet and respectful building, located in the old city, is the perfect place for those who wish to enjoy their holiday in a serene manner.

I am an architect with 10 years of experience renting my property and friends in the most central location of Barcelona. The apartment is located probably in one of the best and quiet neighborhood of the historic city, yet close to the noisy and fun Las Ramblas and the Boqueria market, the latter with a variety of products and local and international food that makes life easy for local people and visitors, that is to say centrally located and isolated from noise, as well as very short distance from many sights and monuments, shops, bars and restaurants in the old town (Ciutat Vella).
A classic renovated and modernist XIX century apartment , in a large and bright street, always will be appreciated in a historic center characterized by narrow medieval streets.

Four of us stayed at this excellent apartment in the heart of Barcelona - one couple and 2 singles. It was perfect - very spacious, well-equipped, comfortable beds, and the location could not be better. The Ravel neighborhood is artsy, interesting, and lively. Being so close to the Rambla, the Boqueria, Plaza España, the Gothic Quarter, the Port, the Eixample Neighborhood, the Born - all within walking distance - is just great. The internet worked perfectly. Carlos handled the reservation speedily and provided all necessary information ahead of time. Parking was also an appreciated feature. Since Carlos was traveling when we arrived, his assistance Lavinia met us to introduce us to the apartment. She was efficient and charming. There was one small issue with the bathroom vanity light - voila, Lavinia took care of it right away. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Barcelona. It will add to the amazing experience one already gets just from being in this vibrant city. A huge GRACIAS to Carlos and Lavinia. We plan on returning, every year if possible!
We were positively impressed with the historic al character of the apartment and the warm welcome of our hoste. Well located with Subway, restaurants and market around. The only negative point is the lack of air conditioned. Although, this corner apartment with several double doors allows air circulation.
I recommand this apartment for any one wants to imerge in Barcelona.
The flat is well-located and offers a good starting point for visiting most sights in Barcelona.
It is situated at the corner of 2 streets and on one side the balcony looks onto trees (and parrots in them) and a building with an ornate façade with roof statues. Lovely.
The flat is ideally placed for food shopping (you'll find a good baker near-by and a small supermarket across the road).
The flat is comfortable, light, spacious and stylish with high ceilings decorated with beautiful coving.
The kitchen is large and well-equipped.
Each room has a fan which you will need to put on in the evenings in summer, especially in the west facing rooms.
The area is quiet in the morning but the cafes and restaurants in the street below bring some life (and noise) late into the night. There is also the unavoidable passing of the council vans in charge of the emptying of the bins.
It was nice to meet the owner of the flat at the start of our holiday. Perhaps the information pack could have been sent before our arrival in order for us to book some of the recommended restaurants in advance.
The pictures posted on line give justice to the flat. I feel that the renting could perhaps be made a little simpler with one price given comprising everything.
All in all, the 6 of us (family: 3 couples) enjoyed our stay in the flat very much.
Staying in the apartment has been an exceptional experience. Above all we are very grateful for Carlos´s warmth & professionalism. The apartment is much more than you can appreciate in the photos, especially its size, the space & details. Its also very well located, between the Ramblas & the Macba, in a quiet neighbourhood, which offers quality, good bars, restaurants & has an organic bakery & organic supermarket round the corner. Thank you very much Carlos! We hope to return in the future.
The apartment is located in the centre of the old town of Barcelona in upper El Raval area, next the famous pedestrian street 'The Ramblas” close to most points of interest like museums and other cultural entertainment. El Gotico & El Raval, divided for The Ramblas are the most central districts of the city, is the most happening neighborhood. All the major sites of interest of the Old Town are at walking distance. 10 minute walk to El Borne area and 15 minute walk to the beach of the Barceloneta area, the old fishing town of Barcelona. Across The Ramblas, the Gothic quarter, is in one of the several gothic & roman buildings and the Cathedral.

**We require a downpayment of 21%. You can do this by credit card or Paypal following the link of the booking form of our first e-mail, or by bank transfer.
**The balance for the owner can be paid in full on arrival or by bank transfer (3 working days in advance of the check in for Euro Zone countries, and 10 working days in advance for non Euro Zone countries).
