The 70m2 villa, which can host up to four persons, is built in 1 level. It consists of an open plan space which includes the living room, the kitchen, a small w.c. as well as a sleeping area (double bed). There are also a separate double-bedroom and the main bathroom.The villa has its own swimming pool, with a stunning view towards the sea, and is surrounded by large courtyards and verandas.The basic material which was used for the constructions was local stone. The house’s walls, which reach a width of 50cm, are 100% built out of stone, following traditional building techniques. The roofs, but also every wooden structure outside the house, are made of chestnut wood, which was brought from mt. Athos. The doors and windows are made also out of wood (niagon), and are equipped with modern mechanisms and insulation systems. Oak floors are used for the interior spaces

Wonderful villa and very hospitable owners

I agree with everything in the previous excellent and accurate review by Gill A. So rather than restating everything I'll just refer you to that review. Plus add:

The family that look after this villa are extremely warm and hospitable. They make you feel looked after and really care about you enjoying your stay. Konstantinos designed the villas and George his brother built them, and their mother made lovely food for us.

George looked after us very well during our stay.

The beach the villa has direct access to is lovely and was very quiet (a handful of people) even in peak summer. It also has some permanent shade from a couple of trees, and has a few free sunbeds stacked to the side. The steps to the beach are long and steep but my pregnant wife and 4 and 6 year olds managed.

We enjoyed watching swifts, house martins, and bats flying down to the pool and scooping water to drink in-flight.

We liked picking fresh basil and figs from next to the villa. There are also lemon or lime trees but they weren't ripe when we visited.

The shops in Neo Klima that are walking distance are reasonable and you could do all your shopping there, but you'll probably want to go to one of the larger supermarkets near Skopelos town.

The pool is great. It has steps down that are good for young children. The shallow end is about 90cm deep, the deep end 1.7m.

Skopelos the island is beautiful and not too busy even in the summer holidays.

It is easy to get here from Skiathos. Skiathos port is very close to the airport, and the boat to Glossa only takes 30 mins. From Glossa George met us and took us to the villa which takes about 15 minutes.

Perfect villa in a perfect location.

We can't say enough wonderful things about our holiday.

We have rented houses/villas all over Europe for the last 20 years and found our perfect house this year.

The house is lovely, exactly what we had hoped for our holiday.

Perfect because of the amazing location:

• direct access to a beautiful private beach

• walking distance to a village with lovely mountain backed beaches, taverna’s and bakery etc.

• 10 mins drive to the best restaurants on the island

• Stunning views from all aspects of the house (mountains, forests, horizon with sunsets)

• Private, not overlooked at all, but not isolated

Perfect because the house was:

• Romantic, beautiful, stylish, functional

• Location as above

• Safe, gated

• Very clean, cared for and well maintained

• High end, well equipped

Perfect because Konstantinos, his mum, and Eva were delightful:

• We were met at the port and directed to the car rental and house

• Homemade jams, honey, cookies, cake, milk and water in the fridge on our arrival. We even had the most delicious lemon cheesecake and orange cake “appear” in the fridge on more than one occasion

• All communications regarding the booking were easy and clear

• Konstantinos is a very charming and honest person

We recommend this house and Skopelos very highly, and will return in 2015

The house is situated on the south part of Skopelos Island, near the settlement of N. Klima. The property (olive grove) in which it is built is 4.012,96 m2, and its north side borders with the main road, which leads to Skopelos city, while its south one ends right on the sea shore. The main advantages of the property are its stunning view towards the Aegean Sea, the direct access from the main road, but also the fact that is placed near critical parts of the island, such as the port of Loutraki, the settlements of Glossa and N. Klima, and the most beautiful beaches of the island (Milia, Kastani, Armenopetra). Lastly, the element that makes this place truly unique is the beach in which the property ends at. There is no public access to this beach and it can be reached only through four private properties, including the one it is described above. Please note that the house is situated in an altitude 25m above sea level, so it takes about 100steps in order to access the beach.
