About Marcy Albin
I have lived in Santa Fe since 2004. While I have spent 20+ years in other areas of New Mexico, Santa Fe is by far my favorite place in New Mexico due to the rich influences of the local cultures, the artists, and its laid back style! There is always something to do in Santa Fe!
Marcy Albin purchased this House in 2006
Why Marcy Albin chose Baca Street
I bought this house due to its central location and ease of access to all of Santa Fe. Initially I bought it as a place for my children to live in while they worked in Santa Fe however with its easy access to downtown, museums, restaurants, and more we all fell in love with it. I especially like the Baca Street Art District with its easy going atmosphere, outdoor cafes, artist studios and galleries. If you want a taste of the real Santa Fe where the locals hang out, this is it. As Canyon Road and many areas of Santa Fe have gotten more and more expensive, many artists have chosen to move to the Baca Street Art District and set up galleries and studios. Recently Santa Fe developed the Railyard Park with trails, studios, galleries, shops, and green space in the Baca Street Art District, so more and more artists are relocating to this area.
What makes this House unique
While staying at my property, I enjoy strolling down to the galleries for art openings, to the cafes for breakfast, or to the Acequia trail for a walk. Once on the Acequia trail, its an easy 15-20 minute walk or bike into North Railyard Park to the Santa Fe Farmers Market where there is more shopping, more art galleries, and great restaurants. Top that all off with a little music and some brews from the local microbrewery and stroll or bike home! Additionally, I always take my visiting family down the street to the Liquid Light Glass Studio for a glass-blowing lesson. Everyone always loves it, including the grandchildren!

Spring Break getaway
We had a very relaxing stay for our short trip exploring Santa Fe. We were conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!
Charming adobe, centrally located....
This well equipped, lovely adobe with southwest ambiance, was located in a neighborhood close to Santa Fe Plaza, as well as surrounding services, attractions, galleries, restaurants, shopping, and a lovely hiking trail....the manager, Marcy, was so welcoming, warm and helpful in my stay...off street parking adjacent to adobe a plus...
Note: As winter temperatures were low in the evening, however, regulating the heat was a challenge in this two bedroom adobe house; smaller bedroom had adequate heat near main room and thermostat. Lacking a heat run, a space heater in larger bedroom was hard to regulate room temp
The property was comfortable, very clean and nicely stocked. It was conveniently located for us and allowed us space to cook meals, play games and have a few laughs together. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and the duplex was so quiet we had no problem with good sleep. I would highly recommend this vrbo and plan to book again if we visit our son in the next few months. Thank you for sharing your space!
Quintessential Santa Fe Adobe Bungalow
Loved the near to everything location of this sweet adobe home. Perfect for three of us. Loved having access to washer/dryer as well as all the other amenities. Just down the street from galleries and the wonderful Counter Culture Cafe. The small enclosed backyard was a nice oasis. The off-street parking was a plus. Clean and comfortable. Good sleeping. Good communication. I would highly recommend for your stay in Santa Fe.
