This is a fabulous condo for families, or a guys weekend escape, or gals retreat. Sleeps up to 10 people. (families travelling with small children) in 8 beds. Beautiful new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo with mountain views. Close to downtown. Hiking and skiing. 1 master bedroom has a king size bed with private 4 piece ensuite. 2nd bedroom has two twin beds that can also make into a king sized bed. 3rd bedroom has double over double bunk bed plus a day bed/futon. Living room leather sofa makes into a queen size bed. Tv and dvd player. Dining room table with 6 comfortable seats. Two bar stools beautiful kitchen with housewares and stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. Laundry washing machine and dryer in the condos as well. Balcony with a bbq for your steaks or some beverages admiring the wonderful rocky mountain view.

About Kristina

My family owned a weekend place in Canmore when I was a child. We would head up to Canmore each weekend from Calgary. Many of my fondest memories as a child were of hiking in an around Canmore, strolling the character downtown and skiing the world renowned ski areas. We wanted our family and others to enjoy this paradise too so we now have this special place to share it with you.

Why Kristina chose Canmore

The condo is brand new and walking distance to downtown Canmore. This is the gateway to the Banff National Park and world Class skiing and hiking. It has the wonderful amenities of a pool, hot tub and fitness area. And walking trails and recreation right from your door. No stairs required on the first floor.

What makes this condo unique

This property is located at the Lodges in Canmore. There is a pool, hot tub, and fitness room available. It is great for a family, 2 families, or a large group going to the mountains together. There are 8 beds in total and sleeps up to 12 people. There are an abundance of little jack rabbits that are along the walking trails all around the building. Our kids love it. They get to be connected to nature while we can retreat to our lovely accommodations with all the amenities.

Nice getaway spot

The condo was well maintained and clean. A little tight for 7 adults, but didn't hear any major complaints. Electronic key lock was not working when we arrived and condo management would not fix without the authority of owner. Which is fine and reasonable. When we were able to reach the owner, it was looked after promptly. Had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Great Mountain Stay

This place was perfect for what we needed. The place was very clean and neat. All the beds slept great. The pool was a hit with the kids. It was very close to downtown. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Condo in Canmore

The condo was very roomy and quite accommodated a large group without any problems. Nicely set up. Would have been nice to have had air conditioning. Originally was set up to have more people in the unit and only found out last minute that could only have 8 people due to fire regulations. Would have been nice to have known a lot sooner. Was lucky to be able to book another unit to house the extra people that needed accomodations.

Great place for a group or fam

Great stay, check in was seamless. Place was clean and well stocked with amenities. Had my wife's 30th birthday lots of space for 9 adults. Would for sure recommend!

Nice condo, not worth dealing with poor ownership

My party arrived in Canmore late on Friday night and went to check in. The staff at the hotel informed us that we didnt need to check in as our party had arrived earlier and was already in the unit. This was confusing as we had literally just arrived. The people in the unit were not in our group.

The hotel staff kept calling the owner but the phone number that was given to them was not working. After much confusion it turned out the owner had double booked the condo and two groups were officially booked into the unit. My only thinking is that my party had a group of 9 and the other party had a group of 3. Maybe we were expected to share the condo that sleeps 12?

The hotel staff was able to relocate the party of 3 into a hotel room and we eventually got to check into the condo. This poor party of 3 had to pack up their gear at 12:30 and move to a different room. The owner never got in touch following this double booking to appologise or address the situation. The hotel staff was very helpful getting everything sorted out.

The unit was nice, had a well stocked kitchen and had comfortable beds. However, the owner only provided two rolls of toilet paper. For for 9 people. We called the front desk to ask for more toilet paper, we were given one roll and told that toilet paper was provided by the owner.

Only 7 towels were provided even though I clearly indicated that there was a group of 9 staying at the condo. We again asked the front desk for more towels, but they said that was the responsibility of the owner.

Overall the unit was nice enough, but my experience with not enough towels or toilet paper was frustrating. I was also very frustrated about how the owner overbooked the unit and never once got in touch to apologise or make ammends. That is not an acceptable way to run a business.

I would not recommend anyone to rent this unit, unless you have a fondness for rationing toilet paper.

Owner's Response: My apologies regarding the confusion the front desk gave you. I was in touch with them and they had double booked my unit. This was a fault on heir end. There is new staff st the front desk and in training. They did move their party into he correct unit as you were properly booked into ours. I have discussed this situation with them and they did correct it and apologized profusely. As for the towels and the toilet paper. I had just stocked the unit. I have 12 beige towels in the closet and white towels for the pool. I have checked with my cleaning staff regarding paper products and it has been restocked again. I am glad to hear you did enjoy the remainder of your stay. Sincerely Kristina
