McClellanville House Rental Photos and Description

House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4 Baths, (Sleeps 12-14)

This gorgeous waterfront home is truly spacious with large bedrooms each with their own bathroom and over 2700 square feet of living space. There is a deep-water dock where you can tie up your boat for the week or just enjoy crabbing, fishing, or watching the sun set. Watch the boats pass by from the large central living room or adjacent screened-porch. The home is completely furnished and comes with linens and kitchenware.

This relaxing rural retreat is located in the quiet Skipper’s Point community just across creek from the Historic District and its great restaurants, shops, museum, and boat landing (a five minute drive away). The house is set among ancient live oaks draped with spanish moss and offers a spacious front and back yard with sweeping views of Jeremy Creek from the Intracoastal Waterway to the scenic shrimp boat docks.

About Daniel and Josie Bates

This is a family home managed by property manager, Daniel Bates. The home was built in 1988 on the prettiest lot in McClellanville by my grandparents, who have since passed away. There are many found memories of a large extended family in this well-loved home, but the home has also been used as a rental for the passed 4 years and has formed a lot of new memories with each of these families, many of which come back year after year.

Daniel and Josie Bates purchased this house in 1988

Why Daniel and Josie Bates chose Charleston Area

McClellanville has been described as a little slice of heaven by many who discover it's quaint southern charm. The movie Paradise was filmed here with good reason.

What makes this house unique

Everyone that stays comments on how "comfortable" they were during their stay. I don't know what it is about the home and McClellanville in general, but it truly is a relaxing place where you are just let your troubles melt away.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Pretty water, love the dock! We all had a fun time-the view is gorgeous. Thank you!

McClellanville experience

  • 2 of 5

We had a great week of fishing and family fun at beautiful McClellanville. The Palmers Point home has a great floor plan. We would have given an excellent rating however, the bed mattresses were horrible. Couldn't rest well at all. Owners need to make improvements asap.Great realtors!

Palmers Point

Palmers Point is a great place to spend some vacation time. We had 11 guys down for a weekend of shrimping and football. Everyone enjoyed the house that had a large dock big enough for (3) 22ft boats. We caught lots of shrimp and all our teams won(even though Clemson gave us a scare)! Thanks to you and your clients for excepting us into your home and we hope to join you again next year!

A very good selection for a group our size. Three adult couples and six teenagers. We enjoyed the dock out back, & were able to see dolphins swimming through the river . We had a great time there in a very spacious & well supplied house. We would certainly like to try a stay here again, but at a cooler time of the year.

Great House

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to McClellanville and we couldn't haven't been happier with the MCVL Realty Team! We had a scheduling conflict and they were extremely accommodating. The house was in a great shape, has huge rooms, nice kitchen, porches with incredible views and a nice dock. Highly recommend this house and the MCVL Team.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful and relaxing time!!! We brought our boat with us and fished every morning! Was perfect!!! For boaters, the house dock/water level gets very low at low tide, you cannot come or go during this time! We planned all our trips around high and low tide, so it was not a problem for us. We enjoyed the local dolphin that would come up to our boat looking for food:). We also saw 6 alligators near casino creek one morning. My. Pleasant was not too far. We ate at our favorite place there a couple of times, Pages Fried Okra....so good!!! We stay again!
