Wake up to the sound of the ocean in this beautiful beachfront property. The first level has the family room, kitchen and breakfast and a small sunroom with 2 bedrooms, with one full size bed on each bedroom. The second level has 2 bedrooms and each bedroom as 2 full size beds. The house has a total of 4 bathrooms and 6 full size beds. Relax on the the beautiful wrap around deck and enjoy the breeze.
The owners had the beach house for 30 years and they are a very nice retired couple that spend most of their time traveling all around the world and the caribbean.
Marisol Mendez purchased this house in 1983
This beautiful oceanfront beach house is a great place to relax and enjoy a great time with the family and loved ones. The deck is all around the house. There is plenty of seating area in the decks over looking the ocean.
This beautiful beach house has the benefit of having oceanfront view. The house has 2 refrigerators and two big flat screen TV's.
The beach house was very nice. My favorite was the downstairs apartment with a full kitchen and dining area. There were 3 refrigerators which really help with all of the groceries. There was plenty of seating area in the dining and living room.
It's hard to say anything about the cleanliness, condition, or location because THE OWNERS CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION 4 HOURS BEFORE CHECK IN ON THE DAY OF ARRIVAL. We had this place reserved since early July and suddenly it needed construction. How convenient that it happened to be Labor Day Weekend. Thanks for ruining our family reunion, some members travelled from out of state for the occasion. If you have any conscience at all you will reimburse us for the additional costs we incurred making alternate plans at the last minute. Dealing with Marisol was the only thing positive about this experience. She was very apologetic and should not have to put up with such nonsense. As for the owners, you deserve zero stars and should be booted off HomeAway.

The house needs maintenance and some repair. The decking on the southwest side of the main floor is rotting and in the near future may require repair, if only for the sake of safety. The sliding door to the closet on the northeast became untracked. On inspection the peg that fits into the track had come out and was located on the floor.
The kitchen was inadequately stocked, but in particular would have benefitted from a large pot suitable for boiling crab and/or shrimp. One of the refrigerator drawers appeared to be stuck. My mechanically inclined son was able to open it.
Towels and wash cloths are in short supply. On arrival, there were only half the number found from that which was described in the inventory. On our day of departure we had to use our beach towels to dry the tableware, partly because the instruction sheet specified the pots pans and dishes be clean, dry, and back in the shelves and cabinets in which they were found, and that all linen be washed and in the dryer at the time of departure.
The ground floor apartment had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets with what appeared to be recent spots remained on the unmade beds. When I removed a dead roach from the floor to dispose of it, I found my hand covered with tiny ants who attempted to protect their meal by stinging me.
On the positive side, the place was comfortably and attractively furnished. The air conditioning worked well. The house is near to the beach, which is clean and quiet.
I'm not in the vacation rental business, but appears to me that only a little effort would be required to make this place a more pleasant place to stay
We had a wonderful time at Dunn's Villas! It was clean and well maintained. Cute decor. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Plenty of yard room for parking or putting up a volleyball net. We wanted to be close to the water and the beach is right out het door. Marisol was quick to answer questions and friendly. A little far from town/attractions, but there are a couple of convenience stores and local places to eat close by and the beach was much more peaceful and less crowded. Would absolutely rent from Marisol again!!
We went to Galveston and we spend a nice relaxing weekend at this beach house. We enjoyed how close the house is to the beach and we took some long walks. We had plenty of space and we loved that the house had 4 baths.
We had a great time at this nice beach house. The house has two refrigerators and the beach is very close from the house. The house has an unobstructed beautiful view of the ocean. The house was equipped with two big flat screen TV's and wireless Internet. We enjoyed our stay!
