About the property

Villa, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Our home includes a main house, art/music studio and guest cottage which surround a center courtyard with a large deck, concrete dining table, lawn, pool, bocce court and olive orchard. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (newly remodeled in January 2015). There is a full bathroom in the hall. Master bedroom has a Cal King bed and private bathroom with dual sinks. Second bedroom has a Queen bed. Third bedroom has twin beds. Our home is reminiscent of a tuscan villa, with rustic wood floors, and a large country farm table. The kitchen has concrete countertops, a country farm sink, and is fully stocked with all modern amenities. There is a breakfast nook and two person bar adjacent the kitchen, perfect for guests to mingle while preparing dinner. The kitchen opens up to the great room with living area, dining room, and gas fireplace.

Living/dining room patio door opens up to courtyard with large deck for barbecuing and outdoor dining. There is a concrete table for 10 under olive shade trees, and a built-in charcoal barbecue.

The separate 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage features wood and tuscan tile floors, full kitchen, queen bedroom, air conditioning, and a private deck/patio overlooking the bocce court and olive orchard.

There is a 800 sq. ft. open studio with art supplies, stage, guitar and keyboard. There is also a ping pong table and a bocce court.

The saline pool stays warm in the summer with a thermal cover.

We have 6 new hybrid bikes of various sizes with helmets and locks for you to enjoy during your stay.

The property is located on Sonoma's East Side, complete with a rich variety of vineyards and wine tasting, including Gundlach Bundschu, Buena Vista, Ravenswood, and Sebastiani. Sonoma Square is a flat 1.5 mile bike ride or stroll away. The Lovall Valley Loop is a great road bike ride just outside our front door.

Wonderful, eclectic, cool property close to town!

  • 5 of 5

Our friend's 50th birthday wine tasting weekend was made even more wonderful with the stay at this great property. It spans a large area, and the multiple structures and well designed landscape layout make excellent use of space and light. We immediately felt indulged and comfortable! The game room/studio was a great hit, as was the bocce court. The main house kitchen came equipped with everything and our group thoroughly enjoyed a home cooked meal after a long day of tastings. We'd love to return in the summer, to take advantage of the pool!

What a beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

The front of the house is deceivingly simple. I honestly thought I had put the wrong number in the GPS the evening we first arrived, but my worries were soon laid to rest. The main house is adorable and comfortably kept my two teenage girls, aunt, husband and myself. My mother and father stayed in the guest cottage which was a bit more rustic, but a nice retreat from the main house. They liked the privacy, yet could still easily be a part of the group.

I can't imagine how beautiful and enjoyable the yard is in the summer! We weren't able to use the full potential of the pool because our gathering was in January, but the remaining bocce ball court, deck and fire pit were entertainment enough. The bonus room or party room as my nephew called it, was a perfect place to play ping pong, foose ball, and coloring. The bikes were a nice bonus and I wish we would have taken advantage of having them. It was rather wet every morning and we didn't want to risk getting caught downtown in rain, but it would have been a perfect ten minute jaunt to the square.

Thank you Janelle for sharing your beautiful home with us! It made a wonderful 50th anniversary memory for my mom and dad.

Ideal Home-Away-from-Home in Sonoma

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, comfortable, and fun house perfectly located just a few minutes from the Sonoma Square. Easy drive, bike, or even walk to nearby wineries, walking paths, and restaurants. Well-equipped kitchen for meals at the house and unbeatable entertainment options. We could not have been happier with our stay! Very highly recommend.

Excellent property for a family gathering

  • 4 of 5

3 generations gathered to celebrate Christmas. The house was warm and inviting with all necessary equipment to cook appropriately for the holidays. The games room was utilized by all with foosball appearing to be the chosen game. Proximity to Sonoma Square was as advertised, the bikes were as well. Would like to retrurn here for warmer weather...to swim and lounge by the pool and olive trees would be very relaxing. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to enjoy their wine country home.

Wonderful location with tons of space.

  • 5 of 5

We had 3 couples staying at the house and all felt very comfortable with the space and amenities provided. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking big morning breakfasts before heading out for all day activities. The house and grounds were clean and well maintained. We only wish we were able to use the outside activities, but time of year didn't allow use of pool. The location feels very secluded, even though only about a mile or 2 from Sonoma Square. Lot of wineries, tasting rooms and restaurants very close by. Enjoyed an evening of singing Karaoke and playing foosball in the studio. Would highly recommend for visiting the Sonoma area!

Birthday bash in Sonoma!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at the villa and we enjoyed it more than the first time, even though much of the weekend included rain. There is ample gathering space to accommodate a large group inside, including a separate building with a ping pong table. We had a local chef and his sous chef come in and cook a 5 course dinner for us. The large dinning table and multiple table settings provided by the house made our meal very comfortable and elegant.
