Cedar Point Cottage. Beautiful seclusion year around, enjoy nature and gorgeous Lake Michigan. Convenient, yet secluded, this three-bed room, two bath salt box cottage sits at the tip of Cedar Point. Right on Ridge Road, only a small wood lot separates you from the park staircase leading you down to 800 feet of private association Lake Michigan beach and to fabulous Lake Michigan sunsets. Built in 2003, the cottage has a stone fire place, and a large deck across the back that overlooks the wood lot and park, both of which buffer you from the neighbors. A bedroom that can sleep up to four is downstairs, as is one of the two bathrooms. Upstairs, an open loft can sleep up to four, and the upstairs bath, which separates the loft from the master bedroom, is accessible from both. A washer, dryer, and ping pong table greets you in the basement, and two kayaks are available to take out on the Big Lake, or down the Pentwater River. Flat-screen TV's with cable in the livingroom and loft, along with wireless internet are also popular features!

This is a spacious, clean cottage on a heavily wooded property. Deer were strolling thru the back yard at 11am one morning. They were so beautiful! We spent the Thanksgiving 2016 holiday here. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment & a pleasure to cook in. We enjoyed cozy fires every night - the owners provide plenty of firewood. The best thing is that this cottage is a short walk to the stairs that take you right down to the beach. Family members, both human & canine, enjoyed long November walks along Lake Michigan each morning & each evening. Also, Pentwater is the best little town! Our favorite places: Antler Bar, The Brown Bear, Gustafson's Antiques, The Gull's Landing. We have rented from The Noud's for a couple of years now & will continue to do so.
We loved our stay at the Cedar Point Cottage. It had all the comforts of home and was spacious enough to accommodate our group. We dining on the back deck overlooking the large wooded yard. It was just a short walk through the yard and down the stairs to a picturesque private beach. What a week!
An easy walk to the shore. Deck is great for star gazing. House is outfitted with everything you need but the food. Even though close to the main road, it was quiet (it is late in the season however so not sure what that would be like in July). Easy access to Pentwater, Silver Lake Dunes and Hart. This house is a terrific value for all that you get. Plenty of room for our party of 5. Owner is very accessible and easy to work with. Having our dog with us added to the long weekend.
We are a family of five plus dog who were fortunate enough to rent this charming, simple, and serene cottage from the Koud's. The cottage is close to the road which I thought may be a problem but wasn't. It is surrounded by woods near the back with a path that lead to Lake Michigan. It is very quiet and private.
The cottage was very clean and cozy. There was everything we needed and more. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable, answer all your questions to ensure you have a good time. You can tell they really love this cottage and they want you to as well.
The cottage itself has a bedroom with 2 beds on the main level, a bedroom and a loft with 2 fold outs on the 2nd level. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ask for and the basement has laundry. The only downside is there is no air. The tree coverage really makes this unnecessary though as the windows all provide a nice breeze but, allergy sufferers beware. The deck is wonderful and has a grill. We had many family meals looking out to the woods knowing that Lake Michigan was beckoning.
Overall, this was a family vacation we will remember forever. My kids had so much fun playing with the dog on the beach and spending time together. The cottage is close to so many things! We were able to enjoy horseback riding, dune buggy ride on Silver lake sand dunes, rafting on the Pere Marquette, and trips to Grand Haven, Ludington and our favorite downtown Pentwater. Many thanks to Carol and Bill
