About Wendy Kapp
A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old. While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.
Wendy Kapp purchased this Condo in 1998

Almost want to keep this secret to myself
The Dream Catcher is really amazing... the kind that takes your breath away and let's out a good sigh. Quiet location with beautiful views from the master and the roof patio. Location is slightly further out, but if you don't mind walking a stroll you can easily make it to Canyon Road and the Plaza. There are even nearby hiking trails. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry attached. The winding stairs can be worrisome if you have small kids, but my kids were so tired at the end of each day, they didn't even notice them. Also radiant heat floors were heavenly. Felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. Will definitely be returning to this property <3
We're so glad that you loved Dream Catcher as much as we do, and that you used the great location as an opportunity to explore what Santa Fe has to offer. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.
Very nice place, super clean & comfortable
We had a super time. This is a very nice place. The owners paid lots of attention to details that made it great. Close to everything,.
We are thrilled you enjoyed your time so much in this wonderful home! We do put attention to detail in all our Two Casitas homes. This home is indeed close to everything!
charming oasis !
From the day we were to arrive Two Casitas was in contact with me making sure all my questions were answered. The place is beautiful! Fully stocked with all we needed for a cozy comfortable stay. Close to EVERYTHING yet tucked away for privacy and quiet. We walked to the town square and Canyon Road everyday! I will definitely come back to Dream Catcher!
Thank you for the great review! Among our top priorities are service, comfort, and location, so we're thrilled that you enjoyed those parts of the Two Casitas experience. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.
Lovely home somewhat close to the plaza
I stayed here with my husband, mom and 3 year old daughter. It was a long walk to the Plaza only because of my 62 year old mom and 3 year old daughter. We opted to drive to the plaza and pay to park. If it were just my husband and I we would have been comfortable walking. However, very close to Canyon Road if you desire that too.
The home had everything that one would expect for a rental. The only thing I would point out for travelers with young children..... There is a spiral staircase that has LARGE gaps between each spindle that a young child could slip through and fall to a hard surface below. And there was not a child gate on premise so we improvised with a step ladder and chairs propped against the stairwell. I'm sure that this is/was apparent when we signed up for the rental, but we missed it.
Overall, we were very happy with the rental and would use it again when returning to Santa Fe.
Thank you for the review! Yes, this home is about a 25-30-minute walk to The Plaza depending on your walking speed, so having a car can help. Thank you for the warning about the staircase as well, as if parents are worried about their children, it is something to consider. We're glad you enjoyed your stay overall, and we hope Two Casitas will host your next trip to Santa Fe.
Beautiful Santa Fe Vacation
Our stay here and our vacation to Santa Fe was great this year. The weather was warmer than usual which was actually a nice surprise- it was almost like visiting in early Spring or something. The Plaza and the shops and Canyon Road are all how we remembered them and the house that we stayed in accommodated all of our short-distance walking travel. Additionally, the house was clean, quiet and very well represented in the photos was browsed through before booking our stay. We couldn't recommend Santa Fe or the "Dream Catcher" house we stayed in more, and their customer service and staff were outgoing and helpful.
We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your casita and Santa Fe..oh and the beautiful weather! Thanks for the wonderful review as well!
Beautiful, cozy, but with lots of space
This property was as close to perfect as I have ever experienced. Two beds and baths, excellent kitchen and living spaces including upper and lower outdoor seating. We loved it and the staff at Two Casitas was wonderful with directions, recommendations, and preparation! We will definitely be back to stay even longer.
Wow! Thank you for the great review. We are humbled by your kind words. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon!
