A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals
Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old.
While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.

Location, location, location is why I chose these homes for our visitors. We want our guests to have the convenience of walking everywhere.
When you stay with Two Casitas you stay like a local, not like a tourist, and experience Santa Fe like you live here. Who knows, maybe you will someday!
This property was as close to perfect as I have ever experienced. Two beds and baths, excellent kitchen and living spaces including upper and lower outdoor seating. We loved it and the staff at Two Casitas was wonderful with directions, recommendations, and preparation! We will definitely be back to stay even longer.
As a first time visitors to Santa Fe, we were a bit overwhelmed in trying to figure out where to stay. Friends of ours recommended that we call Two Casitas Vacation Rentals to find our lodging. The proprietor, Wendy, was incredibly helpful and placed us in a reasonably priced Adobe Pied–à–Terre named Dream Catcher, which is located right in the center of town in an historic housing complex.
Within easy walking distance from the Plaza or Canyon Road, this little gem lived up to its name. The house is warm, inviting and has a comfort level that immediately draws you in. The furnishings are charming and everything you'd expect is there, including two fireplaces and an upstairs terrace.
For us, after a day of sightseeing, the norm became sitting in the delightful tree lined courtyard, listening to the water feature and enjoying a good glass of wine or if I was lucky enough, a chilled martini made by my favorite girl.
We would recommend Two Casitas and this charming place to rest your head in the City Different.
What a great place to stay! It worked great for my family. We cooked, the kitchen was well equipped, I think we used everything in the cupboards and the knives were sharp! We hung out on both of the outside patios and it was lovely. We hiked and walked all over town. When we weren't cooking we ate at the fabulous taco truck and had a great meal at Cafe Pasquals. The beds were super comfortable with great linens. Thanks for making our stay perfect!
Beautiful property, nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable nice stay for two couples. Walking distance to canyon road and most dining. Only one complaint......spiral staircase to master bedroom the light was out so it made returning home at night a challenge, we called but it was not fixed during our stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, organized, and well furnished. It also had a very welcoming feel to it that improved our experience. The proximity to the plaza was also nice. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a nice 2 bedroom/2 bathroom casita.
The house was the best. I was very taken care of by the renters and knew that when I had questions, I had someone to call and things were taken care of.
When I first arrived at the house, I was stunned with my dream home. Everything was perfect- from the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom. Loved the two levels. And the roof deck and the patio was an extra bonus. Also great location - easy to get around town and perfect for getting anywhere. Highly recommend the Dream Catcher.
