Armours Beach House

  • 5 of 5

Last year we booked this house for Thanksgiving to spend with our adult children who live in Vancouver. It was so great we rebooked for this past Thanksgiving and were not disappointed. The house is well appointed and spacious and cooking a turkey dinner was a breeze in such a beautiful kitchen and double oven (thanks Paula for providing a roaster!). It is a lovely home with great views for watching amazing sunsets and incoming storms, it is easily walkable to Lower Gibsons Landing, which is full of great shops and restaurants and art.

Can't wait to come back.

The perfect Sunshine Coast Beach house

  • 5 of 5

I booked the house as a gathering place to rest and relax with our adult children who live in Vancouver. It was a perfect place for 5 of us - to reconnect and relax. Amazing views with everchanging weather and wildlife. We spotted Otters, Herons, Kingfishers and even on the last day - a whale! The decks - covered and uncovered were the perfect spot to while away the hours for us while the kids went Kayaking, hiking and beachcombing. We could walk to town and explored up the coast by car. I envy the Gibsons lifestyle! We'll be back!

We continually strive to offer our guests a better vacation experience than the last, so watch this space ... :-) Best regards - Paula

A Gorgeous Beach House with Amazing Views

  • 5 of 5

I have just arrived home from a stay the Armours Beach House with three of my girlfriends. The house is nothing short of amazing! The home is in an ideal location, 5 minutes from the ferry dock, steps down to the beach, and a very short stroll into the town where there are shops and restaurants. It was such a treat to park the car and not have to drive for the duration of our stay. The two decks on the house are incredible- both are grand with incredible views. The house itself is absolutely beautiful with everything you need and more. The kitchen is a dream to cook in, with top of the line appliances, and is stocked with everything you would need during your stay. The bedrooms are all decorated beautifully, as are all of the bathrooms. The house is spacious and very well laid out for families, couples, and groups of friends alike. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond. We are already planning our next trip back!

A Serene and Well Equipped Beach House

  • 5 of 5

This lovely beach house was such a treat to stay at. Four of us came to the coast from Kelowna and Vancouver for a wedding and we decided to take a long weekend and enjoy the beauty of the sunshine coast right from this stunning beach house. The lovely owner provided easy directions and guidance to access and use the house's facilities. The house was well equipped with a kitchen that was a dream to cook in as well as full laundry access. The beach is steps away down a private walkway and you can walk right into the heart of Lower Gibsons along the beach. The master bedroom and bathroom both had beautiful views; however, the second bedroom does not have any windows due to the site layout. The third bedroom is also quite beautiful and each bedroom having its own bathroom. We would highly recommend staying here and we would likely consider visiting again the next time we are on the Sunshine Coast!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much Ian for taking the time to post your feedback. It is much appreciated and helps us to continually improve the service and product that we offer. The window in the 2nd bedroom is due to be re-installed at the end of the Summer (unfortunately the property to booked up till then, so we are unable to gain access for long enough to do the reno ... victims of our own success!!). We hope to host you again in the not too distant future. Best wishes - Paula

What more can I say; this place is everything you would want and more. The owners were amazing to deal with and the cottage is magnificent. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area due to location and proximity to amenities, however once you arrive you will not want to leave. We had a great time and cannot wait to return next time!

Calm Retreat

  • 5 of 5

What a great relaxing place to stay! Neat as a pin, with all the ameneties you could want in a get-away retreat. Excellent location just a short walk to all the stores and cafes of Robert's creek and an even shorter stroll to a beautiful beach. It is very cosy surrounded by all the trees - the only thing that could top it is if you were directly on the beach - a tiny drawback if at all. Also, its just off a bus route if you need it!

Owner's Response: Thanks Peter - we aim to please. Luckily the beach is only a minute walk at the end of the road ... if the cottage were waterfront, then the weekly rate would be over double what it currently is, so the fact that it's not but still so close to the water is win-win in this case. Cheers - Paula
