Two couples shared this house for one week. We spent most of our time at the house enjoying the sunshine and the pool and the camaraderie - we stopped at the liquor store on the mainland. We found a Dollar Tree, Walgreen's, a deli and an ice cream shop all within walking distance - we were very happy campers. You could come to Marathon and not really want to go anywhere else. We had a couple of super minor issues (i.e. running toilet and a leaking bottom freezer) and Barbara took care of them. This was an easy place to enjoy. Washer/Dryer in basement. We cooked out on the Weber grill too - there comes a point in life where having a leisurely dinner and hanging out with good friends is like money in the bank. Of course, it helped our friend from Marathon has a boat to go night fishing too!
