Perfectly adorable get away.
It’s a quaint little cottage in a garden filled with songbirds and little bunnies. The cottage is quiet, cozy, and perfectly romantic. We would happily stay again and again.
The garden cottage retreat is just that - a retreat that allows relaxation to settle into ones pores. Quiet and beauty surrounds. The owners provide for every necessity; I especially loved that there was no television to distract me from the deer, birds, and the sound of the breeze rustling the trees. Sitting in the window seat, reading and observing, was great. Thank you for the delicious cookies and wine, as well. The fact that the property is close to town was another plus. I will be back!
Truly a Garden Cottage
Our stay was everything we'd hoped for and more. Each item in the cottage was easy to find, and the extra touches and flourishes were thoughtful and appreciated. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family who want to find a little peace, serenity, and solitude.
nice property, very good , very nice extras
Review Short Title
It’s a lovely cottage. We enjoyed our stay regardless of the weather. There was no detail missed. It’s very cozy, and private. Loved the bath products.
Couldn't Have Had a Better Experience
Overall, 10/10. Lizza and John's home was perfect. There were 2 sets of keys, a handwritten note, a bottle of wine and freshly baked cookies waiting for us upon arrival. The atmosphere was amazing and can imagine we will return in the future!
A short six mile drive to Hearst Castle, a scenic drive on highway 46 to Paso Robles wine country, gateway to Highway 1 and the Big Sur coastline, and minutes from Cambria's East and West Village shops, restaurants, and galleries.
