I am an Executive Director for a microfinance non-profit. I also teach aerobics part-time. I speak French and my 8 year old daughter attends the Lycee Rochambeau French School. My husband is a lobbyist in the Health Care industry. We love traveling internally and enjoy hosting international visitors, especially French speaking and helping them to explore beautiful Washington, DC. We live in the main house above the rental unit.

The Logan Circle/ U Street neighborhood is one of the most desirable in NW Washington. There are restaurants, bars, shopping, health clubs, all within walking distance. A short metro ride brings you to the major attractions in Washington, including the museums, the Capitol, and the White House. You can borrow our parking pass and leave your car anywhere on the street in Zone 1. However, once you arrive, you really won't need your car.

Great Location - near transportation, restaurants, etc.
The property was just as pictured - Location is great - a very short walk to U Street and the Metro. Numerous restaurants within a three black radius. Owner was easy to communicate. Appreciated the street parking pass for our car. Will stay here again.

Very nice owner. The apartment is well depicted in the photos. Absolutely loved the location. 3 minute walk to Metro station which makes it very convenient and easy to sightsee!Lots of great restaurants and places to go for a drink at the end of a long day of playing tourist!

Great stay awesome Location! Seemed safe day and night.
Owner kept in contact had information about the city and maps. Close to the Metro, markets and a Starbucks. Next block over had many venues to eat and drink and if you really want to walk it was just a few miles from the National Mall. Place could use a few minor updates but overall a great stay.
Clean and great location!
This unit was the perfect place for our stay in DC! The location was ideal, on a quaint street close to lots of great shops, restaurants/bars and transportation options. The home was very clean and Dara was responsive and accommodating. I definitely reccomend it for anyone looking to stay in the DC area.
Fun, comfy, & convenient
Nice area with groceries, drug store & restaurants within easy walking distance. LOVED that the Metro stop was within a few minutes walk. No need to deal with a car!
