Cedar Creek Cabin is your home away from home. The cabin is fully furnished with all the amenities for a worry-free, comfortable, vacation. Twenty minutes from Asheville, NC, it is an easy day trip to this eclectic, diverse town and the Biltmore Estate. If relaxation is what you want, indulge in the hot tub nestled in the trees, sit by the fireplace, or curl up on the front porch while listening to the sound of the French Broad River. The cabin has easy access to outdoor adventures. Tubing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, fishing, Hot Springs mineral tubs, and white water rafting are minutes away. Coffee shops, galleries and restaurants in the quaint, artsy, mountain town of Marshall, are an easy walk from the cabin. The cabin is not fancy or splashy--but is super-cozy.
The living areas are small and cozy. The third bedroom is connected to the second bedroom by an open doorway (although you cannot see one room from the other). It is perfect for children or very close families.
The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. I live in the area, and will assist you in any way possible during your visit.
We welcome dogs with prior approval. Thank you!
This cabin is a great place to get away from it all, but still enjoy walking to restaurants and nature. I love the cozy feeling and the hot tub in the trees!
We loved the cabin! Adorable and perfect on the inside, and nobody can beat a 'treehouse' hot tub! Our stay was fabulous. Marshall is a fantastic little town - great little shops and ridiculously good food. We can't wait to go back and explore more! Pro-tip: You MUST go to the Sweet Monkey Cafe for breakfast. Best breakfast I've ever had.
This cabin suited our needs this weekend perfectly! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a great plus!!
This was a perfect house for our weekend get-away with friends. Loved the little town of Marshall. Able to walk to breakfast and around downtown. Owner was very easy to communicate with. The area is very close to skiing at Wolf Laurel and for a visit to downtown Asheville. House was very cozy, clean, and had everything you need. Will stay here again!
This house was so cute and perfect for my birthday getaway. I don't recommend coming at night it is a little dark, some outdoor lighting might be useful. The house is very clean and the little town is really neat.
We chose this location as we had planned a whitewater rafting trip with the family. We are a family of five, two teenage daughters and one 10 year old son. We had plenty of room to spread out. While we didn't use the kitchen much, it had everything you need. We did watch tv some, all of us gathered in master bedroom and watched tv. Later kids watched a movie upstairs. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Showers worked well and they had shampoo and conditioner and fresh towels. My oldest daughter slept in the second bedroom while the other two split the couch and the futon. Parking was a little strange but not hard. There are a couple houses very close to this place, but it was not an issue for us.
You can walk into town very easily. Breakfast at the coffee place was very good. The Sweet Monkey restaurant had pizza and sandwiches and was good if yo want to stay close. There is a great grocery store a few miles a way. Rafting is about 5 miles away and very easy. Weaverville is about 10 miles away if you want to try a bunch of different places to eat. We also visited Hot Springs which was a neat little town. I have to mention that I left a few shirts there by accident and they were good enough to help me get them back. We would go back.
My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at this house. The cost is very reasonable. My only recommendation would be to update some of the furnishings. But, at the end of the day this house is a great value because of it's proximity to some beautiful mountains.
