This spacious condo is just a short walk (about 3 minutes) to the desirable South End beach access. Wireless Internet, no extra charge. A Heated Pool. Many other amenities including beach chairs, umbrella w/anchor, fishing poles, tennis racquets w/balls, paddle game, beach toys, pool noodles and a beach cart for your convenience. Sheets, towels, bedding and a cooler included. Unit offers 3 TVs (flat screen), Blue Ray DVD/CD player(s) w/DVD's and 2 VCR'S. The condo, building and grounds are very clean. You will be within walking distance of indoor/outdoor dining, movies, stores etc.. Pets and smoking are not allowed in condo. There is a carport, added storage, guest parking and a car wash hose. Full size/service kitchen, washer/dryer in condo. This Condo and location have many benefits including World Class Sunsets, Great Seashells and a Beautiful Soft Sand Beach so You Can RELAX AND ENJOY.

The covered carport has a closed storage closet where all provided beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach cart , tennis, and fishing equipment as well as for any of your additional storage needs. There are additional guest parking spots as well. Please keep the cooler and tennis items inside the condo.

Great location, Clean and Comfortable!

We had a great time in Marco! The condo is located within a short walk to the beach, and restaurants. The owner is extremely responsive and the condo was clean and well equipped. I would highly recommend to my friends and stay again.

The weather during our two week stay was superb and the accommodations and location exceeded our expectations. The condo was comfortable, very clean and the initiative taken by Chris to make our stay a pleasant experience is very much appreciated. We especially enjoyed the screened lanai sheltered by a tree and palm tree which provided shade and privacy from the afternoon sun. Unlike the January 31, 2016 "Mixed Review", we found the condo to be well-supplied with the basics ~ sponges, dish soap, the dustpan in the washer/dryer area, and the beach cart was used without a problem. LOCATION, LOCATION!!! The fact that the condo is within easy walking distance of the beach, several restaurants and shops is wonderful. The ability to walk to and from O'Donaghue's Restaurant on St. Patrick's Day was a blessing! Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Marco and are looking forward to staying in Chris's condo next year! Many thanks Chris.

Mixed review

As other reviewers noted, the unit was very clean. We found though that the unit was missing some basics that would have made our stay more comfortable. There were no sponges, dish soap, dustpan, and no laundry detergent. As we arrived on a Saturday night, and the realty office was closed until Monday, we had to go out and purchase these basics (minus the dustpan which we didn't purchase). There were few condiments in the kitchen, making cooking limited. I have rented many homes before, and these things have always been provided. Often extras, such as packets of coffee or tea are provided as well. This was "bare bones". I also found the outdoor closet messy and mildew smelling. A piece fell off of the cart as we used it. The location was OK. Not far from the beach. The unit itself faces the road. With the windows closed, there was no noise at all. However sitting on the balcony was not as pleasant as I had hoped for, due to traffic noise. The booking process was easy and seamless.

Please note that this renter never contacted me to give me the courtesy of helping him in any manner. The dustpan has always been next to the dryer. This renter had all of the beach items in the condo where they were stored. The beach cart is a convenience I provide to renters. This renter says a piece fell off? What piece? Was it the Old Beach cart in the storage closet? How can I help or replace anything if I am notified after your stay (so frustrating). I am always available to address any questions or matters to make your stay most enjoyable on Beautiful Marco Island. I am easy to deal with, really, please just contact me so I can assist you. clean and quiet

Neat, clean! Short walk to the beach, nice pool. WiFi and all the necessities for a comfortable stay in the condo and for the beach. Beautiful location with many stores and restaurants within walking distance. We had an awesome vacation!!!!!! Can't wait to go back!

The Essex is a great condo, comfortable, roomy and all the comforts of home. The owner is extremely accommodating. It is close to walking distance to the beach, shops and most restaurants. The condo has a nice pool when you need a break from the beach. I would recommend this condo and location for any family it has everything you could possibly need to an enjoyable vacation. I can't wait to go back!

great weekend

what a beautiful place Marco Island is we spoke with Chris made a reservation at his condo and what an enjoyable vacation we had right across the street from beautiful white sand beaches and the all sorts of major hotels with walking off the beach access to restaurants and bars there's some of the more mainstream nightlife right up the road we were on the beach all day and out all night and had a wonderful condo to relax in when we chose to do that dealing with Chris was a breeze and what a wonderful vacation we had thank you Chris
