C204 at the Point at Mauna Lani is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath ocean view villa has amazing views that include the Signature 15th hole of the Mauna Lani South Course, Ocean Views and a view of the lovely black sands of Honokaope Bay. The lanai is furnished with comfort in mind with a full sized sofa and two arm chairs with matching ottomans and a coffee table. The serenity, comfort and views combine to create the perfect location for memorable sunrises and sunsets. The glass doors to the lanai provide you with breathtaking views from the within the villa.

The living room is adorned with quality solid wood furnishings and a very unique seashell sectional. A wall mounted flat screen television dares you to take your eyes off of the spectacular view.

The dining table seats 8 guests, ideal for entertaining! The mirrored wall of the dining area extends the dimensions of the room with absolute elegance.

The custom gourmet kitchen has been upgraded with beautiful koa wood work. The appliances were selected in a classy stainless steel and include your very own personal wine cooler. The oversized granite countertops invite you to create a culinary feast.

Both bedroom suites are furnished with king beds and both have their own private bathrooms. The master suite includes a workstation near the lanai for those who prefer to be seated at a desk to catch up on a bit of business. A warm neutral tones of this room, and the wall mounted television create a welcoming space to retire to at the end of the day. The master bath has dual vanities and a spacious custom walk in shower obscured behind a glass block shower wall.

The guest suite is also furnished with a king bed, and set in place with a creative oversized wooden headboard. A combination television/dvd player/vcr player can be hidden from view within the doors of closet which also contains built in drawers. An adjacent closet provides room to hang clothing. The guest bath is quite spacious and has a tub/shower.

In the entryway of the home is a beautiful half bath, a full size washer and dryer, central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

The Amenity Center is located one building away from C204 and has a spacious summer kitchen, barbecue grills and lots of comfortable seating. A water feature flows beside the free form pool, there are outdoor showers, a hot tub and a sauna.

The saying “pictures do not do it justice” seem to be meant for C204 at Mauna Lani. This was our third time to the island but first staying in a condo unit. We knew the island neighborhoods well so focused on a few in Mauna Lani and Waikoloa. When we saw C204 was available we jumped on it because of the view. Mauna Lani’s south course is our favorite golf course here and hole #15 is the crown jewel – a par 3 shot over the crashing waves of the acific below – an incredible view. C204 looks out directly over this stunning panoramic view and has an amazing perspective of the entire Hanakaope Bay. If you’re looking for a room with a view – look no further!! Every morning and evening we would sit and enjoy a coffee or cocktail and take it all in – and on several occasions saw humpback whales cruising the bay. It is important if this is your criteria to get a second or 3rd floor unit as well. First floor units have a hedge row blocking their view and several times we saw people on the ground floor standing on stools to get a better picture.

The condo itself is terrific. Very well appointed with everything you will need to be comfortable. High quality furnishings, comfortable beds, a wine cooler, TV’s in each bedroom – it is clear that the owners enjoy living like they do when at home and have taken efforts to ensure that their time here as well as their guests is spent in comfort. We also enjoyed walking the fisherman’s trail along the ocean in the mornings and evenings – a peaceful walk with stops along the way in spots offering information on ancient Hawaiian life here. The biggest surprise was the beach club. You can walk to it from this unit although we drove most days to carry our things. The beach is clean and has a sandy bottom up to about chest high water before getting rocky. The waves are small there allowing easy access for small children. They have rental kayaks and paddleboards on site, a great restaurant and bar, restrooms etc. The bay is called Makaiwa Bay. If you go on line and research the “Best Snorkeling on the Big Island” you’ll find that Makaiwa and Honokaope Bays are frequently cited.

In summary – C204 has it all. Proximity to restaurants and shops, the best golf on the island, terrific snorkeling and the most amazing views. We will be back.

AMAZING experience at C204 Mauna Lani Point

This was our second stay at C204 at Mauna Lani Point. An absolutely amazing condo with even more amazing views of the ocean and the signature #15 hole of the South Course. So peaceful and relaxing, very quiet. Wendee Aono at Kohala Luxury Rentals is on top of everything, very accessible, we had a few minor things come up during our stay and she addressed everything quickly and efficiently. We will absolutely book this condo on future visits. We have stayed at Mauna Lani Point every year for the past 15 years and this is our absolute favorite condo. Giving away a secret so now we probably won't be able to book it :)

The perfect place for a family

Our family of four stayed at this property for 10-days. The condo was exceptionally clean. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. The kitchen was large and well appointed. The ocean view from the deck, especially at sunset, was exceptional! The beach club was the perfect place to introduce snorkeling to the kids. Pool was very clean and great place to wind down in the evening. The location was also perfect - just 20 minutes north of the airport, close to the resort amenities at Mauna Lani and the shops/restaurants in Waikiloa beach. It was just a short drive to the beautiful sites on the Kohala coast. Location close to Waikoloa road made it easy to drive to other locations on the big island such as Mauna Kea observatory, Hilo and volcanos national park. We highly recommend this rental unit.

Special view, special home

We have stayed at The Point for many years now and have had some lovely units in the past in C block but this unit had everything you can imagine and more. The view is superlative and the lanai furniture is comfortable and practical with both table and sofa/love and chair to enjoy the scenery, play cards and eat a meal. The bed in the master is extremely comfortable, ensuite is spacious and the second bedroom is large (although we didn't use it). New washer/dryer and detergent were there as well as boogie boards, cooler and snorkel masks. There were lots of spices and oils, toilet paper and garbage bags provided, which you don't always find with some rentals.The furniture and artwork is tasteful and the home shows beautifully, as if everything was chosen with a great deal of care and love. Everything worked well and Wendee was so helpful when we needed anything. We hope to return to this gorgeous unit again.

Stunning views and beautiful condo!

I cannot say enough great things about this condo. It has stunning views and is a beautiful condo. The photos do not lie and I would say the view is even more impressive when you get there. The home is decorated very nicely and does not feel like a rental. The owners have clearly put a lot of thoughtfulness into the décor. It's modern, and has a lot of authentic Hawaiian artwork. The kitchen is well stocked with all pots and pans you could need, as a nice selection of herbs and other pantry items. The beds are comfortable, as are the living room and outdoor furniture. We felt very relaxed at this condo. We have already booked next year's vacation! I would also like to mention that Wendee is a wonderful property manager. I had a few questions before arrival and she was very responsive and accommodating. I had no issues with anything while there, but I feel confident she would have been helpful then also. She's great!

Wonderful views, great condo complex, comfortable unit

C204 has great ocean views from the lanai, living/dining areas, and master bedroom. The decor is a sort of warm Hawaiian-modern, quite stylish yet comfortable. Both beds were comfortable, no shortage of pillows! No shortage of TVs either. The kitchen is up-to-date and IMHO has a better than average selection of chef knives, pots and pans, and is well stocked with herbs, spices, and condiments. We were pleased to find several coolers in the hall closet, which came in handy for trips to the Waimea farmers' markets, keeping our fresh produce cool and unwilted in a hot car. The Mauna Lani resort also has a really nice grocery (upscale Foodland), not to mention great restaurants (Canoe, Monstera are both great--try appetizers and cocktails at sunset at Canoe). The Point condo complex has a lovely pool/hot tub/outdoor entertaining/BBQ area. The grills in the BBQs were amazingly clean, and a very short walk from the condo. Check that area in the morning for a local paper.

We snorkeled every day, either at the Beach Club or at the little rocky beach between the expert and intermediate tees for the 15th hole (you can see the entrance wall from the lanai, under the spreading tree). We had a great time, and our only negatives were that although the condo was generally pretty clean, it could use a bit of extra attention in the corners, but then, I'm picky. The lanai furniture was very nice, but we missed having a little cafe table for dinners outside. Be sure to check behind the patio cushions for geckos before sitting down! We had fun watching them on the lanai, they are very cute and colorful. We would definitely stay here again. If you like great and easy snorkeling, this is a perfect spot for you.
