Cozy and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

This property was lovely! My parents, my dog, and I all stayed. 2 good sized bedrooms, a nice kitchen, living room, great porch, and a breathtaking view of the lake. We had more than enough space, the property was clean and comfortable, and most of what we needed was already provided (sheets, towels, etc.).

The location was convenient- I walked to the brewery and wineries. 2 state parks are about 5 miles away and Geneva is only a 10 minute drive. I would definitely stay again. Such a lovely experience.

We had a really nice time at this little cottage. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. It was not what I would consider to be luxurious, but it was a very nice lake cottage. There were just two of us and our dog, but there was ample room for two couples. The deck outside is great for watching sunsets and cooking out. I would not recommend small children here though, due to the stairs leading to the beach front, which is 2 full sets of steep stairs down. We spent a lot of time at the wineries and visited several local restaurants. There is a Wegmans about 10 mins away as well, so everything you would need is very close. You literally drive through a corn field to get to the place, so when I say it's quiet, it's definitely quiet. We will definitely be back to Seneca Lake - we had a great time there!

Everything you need for an enjoyable vacation!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at Seneca Lake. The house was very suitable for our family of 5. The deck outside was spacious and has a spectacular view-- we loved barbequing and eating outside1

What we really appreciated about this rental was the use of the canoe and two kayaks-- this provided a lot of entertainment for our family! The only tricky part was getting the canoe down the stairs to the water!

Swimming was good out further from the shore but near the dock the water was a little murky.

The place was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this place to a friend or relative!

Fantastic Stay on Seneca Lake

  • 5 of 5

After a long day at the vineyards this cabin was just a short drive and had miraculous views of the lake! We were able to walk down to the dock where we debated using the provided kayaks but decided to go for a swim instead. Afterwards, we made a fire with the provided firepit and drank wine on the spacious deck as the moon reflected off the lake. There was plenty of room for our party of four and easily could have fit more comfortably. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook breakfast the next morning and all sheets and towels were already taken care of. Like staying in a hotel with a better view! I cannot wait to come back again and will be sure to tell friends and family about this house!
