This is The Dragonfly, our Westminster townhouse. Enjoy all that Denver and the Front Range of the Rockies have to offer from this great home base in a quiet, family-oriented, residential neighborhood. This is NOT a party house, but rather a peaceful home-away-from-home -- perfect for a family vacation, a girlfriend getaway, business colleagues, or a gathering of friends.

This beautifully furnished home features three bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, comfortable couches and cozy gas fireplace in the living room, and an updated kitchen that has everything you need to create a delicious meal.

Dragonfly has beds for eight. Bedroom/bath #1 is an upstairs master suite. There is a beautiful mountain view from the window, a king sized bed, separate shower and soaking tub in the bathroom, and walk-in closet. Bedroom/bath #2 is a main floor master suite. Two twin beds can also be made up into a king-sized bed. Bathroom has separate shower and soaking tub, and walk-in closet. Bedroom #3 is furnished with twin beds and is right down the hall from bathroom #3, which has a tub/shower combination. There is also a queen-sized Murphy wall bed in the partially finished basement.

In the interests of safety and comfort, we will not accept any parties larger than 8, including children.

Start your day with coffee and a mountain view. Spend the day exploring Denver -- Downtown is just 20 minutes away, the Denver Zoo and Science Museum about 25 minutes. Take in a play or concert at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Explore the Sixteenth Street Mall, the Capitol, the Mint, or the world of cuisines from the lunch trucks in the Civic Center. Or, head for the hills -- we've got a picnic cooler and camp chairs. Picnic, hike, climb, ski, bicycle....all within a short drive. At the end of the day, sit on the patio and enjoy the majesty of a Colorado mountain sunset.

Dragonfly is 10 minutes from Westminster Promenade, which has selection of restaurants, a huge movie multiplex, bowling & family entertainment complex, and ice arena. Across from the Promenade is the Butterfly Pavilion, a wonderful place to explore nature. Flatiron Crossing is one of the most popular shopping and dining complexes in the Denver area, and is just 15 minutes down the highway.

And, of course, you could always stay in and enjoy the townhouse!

There are digital cable television, blu-ray players that allow you to access Netflix or Hulu+ accounts, and wifi. The partially finished basement has a ping-pong table, TV & BluRay player. The subdivision has a playground, outdoor pool, and walking trails around three tiny 'lakes'. Access to walking & bike trails and open space area is just a short walk away.

In addition to the beautiful setting and furnishings, The Dragonfly is a gallery for the work of award-winning Colorado artist, Cheryl Berglund. Enjoy the gorgeous artwork in all of the rooms -- or purchase a painting to take home as a reminder of your wonderful stay at The Dragonfly.

Perfect and comfortable!

Our recent stay was both perfect and comfortable! It is evident that the owners take great care to make sure their guests have everything they need. Tracy was VERY quick to respond to the few questions we asked. I believe the owners use VRBO to rent when on vacation and are sensitive to what a renter would need and enjoy. All the little details were appreciated!

We selected the Dragonfly because of all the excellent reviews. We would stay here again when in the Denver area. Some of the places we visited, which were very close include Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park and Red Rocks. It is close to Downtown Denver too!

We were in town for a wedding at the Ranch Country Club and it was very close to that venue. This rental was perfect for our family with the three large bathrooms and bedrooms. We did not use the basement but there was plenty of room if we needed more space. We appreciated the fireplace that was turned on with the flick of a switch for those cool Denver evenings.

Thank you Dave and Tracey, for the hospitality! You have a beautiful home and staying there made our trip memorable!

Beautiful home away from home

9-20-17thru 9-25-17. Staying at the Dragonfly was a wonderful experience for our family. We were in town for our son's wedding and could not have picked a better place to stay. Much Better Than a Hotel!

Our stay at The Dragonfly exceeded our expectations! We were in town for a social curling tournament in nearby Golden, and it was terrific to have such a nice living space to stay in rather than dispersing to separate hotel rooms. The property is very clean and comfortable, and the owners were terrific in making sure our needs were met. One of our team members has celiac disease, which can be difficult to accommodate while traveling, so we especially appreciated the extensive labeling in the kitchen and the kitchen items designated as gluten free. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Less than 30 days prior to arrival, refund will be made only if we are able to rebook the property.

NOTE: Reservation will not be confirmed until signed rental agreement and first payment have been received.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
