The large master bedroom has king bed and water view, whereas the second bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and the third bedroom offers two twin beds. The home has a fully equipped kitchen and the family room has a pull out sofa. Enjoy fishing from your own 60ft waterfront deck or sit in the large backyard under the shade of your palm tree. Linens and Towels are provided.
Great for fisherman's / 'fisherwomen's' and boating enthusiasts. Bring your own boat or rent a pontoon boat or kayak/canoe and discover the beautiful spots around Anclote River with its access to the Gulf of Mexico for a day of shelling, fishing, snorkeling or Dolphin Watching.
Casual place, nothing fancy, with a wonderful deck on an inlet and open concept dining/living/kitchen with view of inlet. A couple of things not to miss: little throw-back bar down the street (Forest Hills Cc), golf course to walk or run on (across the inlet), Winn Dixie only 1 exit north in US19, and 1 block from Grand Ave which is much better to travel on than US 19. Closet-like master bath but great water pressure in showers. Also, backyard is entirely gravel so may be tough with little kids but was fine for us. Easy, peaceful place for 5 people. Martin the owner is very nice and helpful. We're looking forward to going back there!
absolutely fantastic ! It was so awesome to be in a house with my friends instead of a stuffy hotel room . We are Empty Nesters and decided on a spur of the moment decision to go down to Tarpon Springs with the boats and just have a fun weekend . The house is decorated beautifully and was convenient for us to go to the Anclote boat ramp . The backyard overlooks the canal and is beautifully landscaped . There were 2 tables outside and chairs for us to relax and just talk and sip wine with our friends . The owner Martin recommended 2 restaurants in Tarpon Springs and we visited them both . One was Shrimpwrecked and the other was Rusty Bellies . They were FANTASIC !!!!!! I would definitley visit and stay here again .
We had a wonderful 3 night stay over Labor Day weekend, even with the hurricane passing. The house is located in a residential area, on what I would consider a well travelled street. This was not a problem, since we spent most of our time indoors. Initially we had a bit of rain, so yes, we did miss the updated flat screen TVs. But, internet worked great! Once the weather cleared up, we did not spend much time indoors, the views outdoors is all we needed. We caught catfish and blue crabs, saw huge turtles, stingrays, flying mullets, and an alligator.
Not too much traffic on the river, a few boats on one day, none any other day.
Marvin and I communicated via text, which he replied promptly when we had cable problems because of the storm.
The house is beautifully maintained, and was very clean. It was adequately furnished, not over done. My parents are in their 80s, and they absolutely loved it, so yes, it was a perfect weekend.
This place is airy and spacious. There is a fabulous view from the livingroom and master bedroom. Kitchen was very workable if a bit under equipped. Clean and comfortable, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property! very well kept and the view was amazing!
We could not have had a better vacation rental! My family and I traveled from Charlotte, NC to Florida to be close to some relatives in New Port Richey for upcoming birthdays. When looking for a rental home, like most, we had a budget and a feel in mind. When we crossed this home, it was almost too good to be true. The trip was spontaneous and we were looking for a rental within 2 weeks. HOWWWW this place wasn't booked is still a mystery to us. In the pictures you will see big spacious bedrooms, big living spaces and a beautiful view. Honestly, we were nervous.. hoping the pictures were not distorted or outdated. And to our surprise the house was even better! The tile floors were gorgeous! There was so much room in this house that we fit over 15 people comfortably for a cookout. I have a son who is a year and a half and had 2 girls who were 4 and 5 running around alllllll over the place and there was so much room for them and nothing remotely breakable; we never had to worry. The beds were so comfortable. The back yard and dock were perfect! There was a fishing pole in the garage we used to fish and we caught a huge Pompano. And another thing.. This house came with everything. WE NEVER ONCE HAD TO CONTACT THE 'OWNERS'. There was an overflow of trash bags, toilet paper, towels, linens, and even beach toys. The location was perfect too. So much to do and so close to everything. Beaches, boardwalks, gold course, even grocery and STARBUCKS!
We have been home almost 4 days and cannot wait to travel back down and stay in this gorgeous house again. It was a total bargain and I recommend it to all families, all ages and sizes. The 'owners' were very pleasant to communicate with and were very professional (and young).
