We like leaving the car parked the entire time we are here! It’s easy to do at Tidewater because so many things are close at hand and within walking or biking distance. The beach is 2 minutes from the condo door! The fresh seafood shop, the Winn-Dixie, the CVS, public Library, Pier Park and restaurants are all close at hand without a car! And it’s just so relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the awesome views and the dolphins playing in the water!

Beach is beautiful!
Easy to book and check in.
Lots of amenities but most were closed or we didn’t use because of COVID.
Property Manager was very responsive and nice.
Cool unit layout with surrounding views of beach/city.
Good 2bd/ba for the price per night
The property is in need of some updating. The carpet and tile are dirty/cracked and need to be replaced. Also the HVAC never fully worked while we were there. It was 85 degrees in the unit when we checked in!
We waited for elevators waaaay to long the entire trip. Took us 1.5 hours to snag an elevator to leave with a cart on check out day.
The beach chair folks are ripping people off. My husband got down to the hut everyday when they opened and because our unit owner had prepaid for the chairs we immediately got put on the 3rd row. Said the front two rows were sold out everyday no matter the time we got down there.
Nobody (guests or staff) is wearing masks inside the common areas which was a requirement when we signed our rental agreement. Total disregard for the rules implemented due to COVID-19.
Beach and condo bldgs were extremely crowded so it was hard to social distance. On top of the lack of ppl wearing masks, it was highly concerning.
We had the tile and carpet scheduled for replacement in March. COVID lockdown and restrictions have delayed that. So we have discounted the weekly rate as a result. And are working on getting that back on the tiler's schedule (all new tiles everywhere and no carpet at all). The A/C was repaired within 5 hours of being made aware of the issue and it is cooling at full capacity. We have made the Tidewater HOA, who is charged with enforcing the new rules, aware of what this guest said regarding no one wearing the required masks while in indoor public spaces. I have been assured that enforcement measures will increase.
Great Location Wonderful Kitchen!
This property was well appointed in the kitchen. Excellent if you want to make food at home. Beds were OK, not exceptionally comfortable, but not exceptionally uncomfortable either. Unit has carpet, which owner says is going to be replaced in March, 2020 with tile. That’s good, because it needs it. The write up for the unit indicated that we did not have to check in with the resort, however that turned out not to be the case. We had to pay a $31 fee to activate our bracelets. Listing also indicated it was not necessary to bring beach chairs, however, the ones on the beach that the owner has paid for are only available for free from March 1 - October. We were there in Feb. The owner was absolutely wonderful to deal with, and agreed to refund us the purchase price of beach chairs. Overall, the owner is terrific, and will fix anything that is wrong!! He is extremely accommodating and responded quickly whenever we had questions.

We’ve enjoyed our stay at this west facing corner unit! It is as if you can see all the way to Pensacola! Great spot to watch sunsets over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! The property was nice but needed a little more cleaning. We had a small issue with the bed, messaged the owner and he was very quick to respond and super helpful. The location was great, just moments away from Pier Park! Plenty of things to do and places to eat around the condo. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals if we wanted to stay in for the evening. This condo was having a home away from home! Overall my family had a wonderful time and would recommend staying at this unit.
We had such a great time! The property was perfect for our NYE stay. We enjoyed the unit and the view was amazing. We loved waking uo to the beach each day. The staff was helpful and kind. We could see fireworks from the couch on NYE. We would definitely recommend stayimg here!
Tidewater is conveniently located within walking distance, a scant 1/3 of a mile from Pier Park; a brand new 900,000 square foot premier shopping and entertainment center which has a 16 theater movie complex, several restaurants, (including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville) and numerous retailers (including Dillard's and Target). The Pier Park Concert Series presents various musical entertainments all summer long.
