Casa Tamarindo - Artistic Style on the Mesa
Casa Tamarindo is a restful retreat that sits above the street in a Mesa neighborhood, overlooking the panoramic views of the coastline and islands. The design elements focus on comfort with an artistic flair. Vibrant paintings of bright ocean and floral themed scenes were created by the owner, adding vivid ambiance to the property.
As you enter the home, step up to the Formal Living Room with ocean views. This room welcomes quiet conversation, or becomes a cozy spot to just relax and disconnect. The convenience of a desk for working guests has been added.
The Family Room offers a large sectional sofa and flat screen TV. French doors open to an intimate Patio just outside, with two armchairs and ottomans. A lipstick red umbrella suspended over the spa offers shade for daylight soaks, and stepping stones lead back up the terraced yard to the Master Suite. This provides convenient access for upstairs guests. Enjoy dining outside on the patio table.
The Kitchen and Dining Room share a common space filled with light from the sunny coastal landscape. Corner windows with ocean and patio views flank the dining table that seats 6. Behind closed doors there is an adjacent Laundry Room and Pantry.
Upstairs, the Master Suite offers a queen-size bed, large walk-in closet, and corner windows facing the ocean. The Master Bathroom with dual sinks and shower/ tub combination also offers French doors that conveniently lead to the side yard and spa below.
The 2 other Guest Bedrooms feature queen size beds. The south-facing Guest Bedroom offers ocean views and soothing art. The third Guest Bedroom on the north side is slightly more spacious and faces the hillside behind the house, making this a very private escape. The Hall Bathroom is shared by both Guest rooms, and offers a tub with shower, a sink and vanity.
On the main floor there is a whimsical Powder Room. An attached Garage is on the lower level making it convenient to park inside and bring in groceries, or stay dry on inclement days.
As with all Mesa locations, access to just about anything is simple and close-by. Downtown Santa Barbara is just a 5 minute drive, or you may walk to local ethnic eateries, family favorite restaurants, or bustling coffee shops. Save time to explore one of Santa Barbara's finest gourmet markets, Lazy Acres, which is just down the street. Mesa Park is also within walking distance but if you are ready for a bit more of a stroll or bike ride, venture out to the nearby Douglas Family Preserve for a breathtaking view on the bluffs above the waves of the Pacific. Shoreline Park and coastal beaches are a little further for great exercise!
Casa Tamarindo is a relaxing and soothing place to rest and rejuvenate, with easy access to outdoor adventures, but you may want to consider a fall or winter vacation here, with mild and beautiful year round weather and plenty to enjoy.

Thanksgiving Week (Any dates which include Thanksgiving Day)
7-Night minimum for all bookings made before Oct 1st.
3-Night minimum for current year bookings made after Oct 1st.
Christmas Weeks (Dec 19 - 26 & Dec 26 - Jan 2)
7-Night minimum (in the fixed weeks above) for all bookings made before Nov 1st.
3-Night minimum (and flexible dates) for current year bookings made after Nov 1st.
Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 12% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$325 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$2,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $500 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.

The house was absolutely fabulous! It was stalked with everything you needed. I wish I could have just moved in! The house was beautiful, Santa Barbara was beautiful, hence our wedding could only be beautiful! I chose that house so that we could have our family with us. It was such an inviting home and spacious! Loved our stay!
