|Minimum Stay||4 - 6 nights|
Between london's financial centre and it's arts and media centre, Spitalfields is one of the most interesting areas in London. You get a sense of being in the capital city when you stand on either of the two balconies and look up at the sky scrapers that surround you. When you walk out of the front door to the street you are immediately surrounded by buildings of British Victorian architecture. This contrasting mix is a consistent theme in London through it's music, arts, language, food, architecture and people.
Walk to many of London’s key attractions. Hoxton, Brick Lane, and Shoreditch are literally on the door-step, where you’ll find art galleries, museums, boutique shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and markets. The Tate Modern, London Dungeon, The Museum of London and the Design museum are within walking distance. Both the heart of London’s financial district and the art and media centers are within minutes of the apartment.
The lift brings you to the top floor of a contemporary building, where the 60m2 suite sits with its two balconies, running the entire length of the apartment. One faces north with breathtaking views of the city the other faces south towards Aldgate and the River Thames. Frying Pan Alley is a walkway, which means the apartment although being positioned in the heart of bustling London, enjoys almost complete silence guaranteeing the perfect nights sleep.
The apartment is designed to modern standards with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, 32-inch LCD TV, DVD player, High speed WIFI internet connection and free-view cable television. There is also an iPod/iPhone/MP3 docking station so that you can enjoy your music. A collection of books and DVDs for both children and adults is also in the apartment for you to use whilst your here.
Please be aware that this apartment is in a building where people live regularly and therefore we ask you to respect quiet hours between 11pm and 8am, this doesn't mean that you need to be silent, just that this apartment is not suitable for parties or loud music between these times.
It takes 17 minutes via Liverpool Street’s Central line to get to Oxford Circus and the many theaters of London’s West End. The Central Line runs through the heart of London and stops five minutes walk from the apartment. Spitalfields market which is open everyday is also within 200 meters of the apartment.
There’s a luxury king size double bed in the bedroom and an extremely comfortable (and easy to use) king size folding sofa bed in the living room. Both beds are fitted with 4 luxury pillows of different sizes and softness as well as luxury bedclothes to ensure that no matter what you prefer your bed to be like, you’ll enjoy a good comfortable nights sleep here!
I'm a trained carpenter and run my own business. I've travelled a lot myself, mainly in Europe, Asia and the Americas. I've also lived and worked in Rio De Janeiro, Barcelona and Paris where I learnt to speak Spanish, Portuguese and French. I still like to travel and greatly enjoy meeting people from all over the world who come to stay in one of my apartments.
I aim to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. If you have any special requirements then please just ask!
I am from London and can give advice on any part of city life and what there is to see here in this fantastic capital city.
This lovely apartment is in an excellent position minutes from the tube, buses and Spitalfield Market is on the doorstep. There's a supermarket around the corner or loads of restaurants and pubs nearby. Tower bridge is within walking distance or hop on a bus into central London.
Sorry about the delay in commenting. We spent Christmas here. The apartment is as in the photos. Everything was clean and very well equipped. The property is centrally located and close to the Liverpool Street station. The stay was great. Thanks!
The location of the apartment is perfect, close to Liverpool Street Station, a lot of pubs and restaurants nearby, a supermarket just around the corner. The flat is well equipped, there’s enough room for 4 persons and despite the central location it is quiet. However, contrary to the description on the website, the folding sofa bed in the living room is not comfortable at all –one night in the bed already caused back pain.
Unfortunately, the lift was out of order when we stayed there. This was a little bit inconvenient on arrival and departure (the flat is on the 5th floor).
Nevertheless, the flat is a good place to stay and we would come back again – next time probably with two people and no one sleeping on the sofa bed ;-).
Great location and host! The building was impressive and very well looked after, as was the apartment. Clean and fresh, all new. Clive was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed myself in London and enjoyed having this home away from home. Will come back surely. Thanks Clive and his team.
It is hard to truly explain how wonderful this experience was. The flat is gorgeous and quite large. The location is as perfect as I thought it would be. Clive and his team are very professional and yet very human. It was a pleasure to meet them, and to get to know Clive better. We were there 19 days (not long enough), and it truly felt like home. I am looking forward to next year. Thank you again. Kindest regards, Cindy and Bob.
