|Minimum Stay||3 - 5 nights|
There's something magical about Lake Coeur d'Alene that is difficult to define. Perhaps it begins with the mesmerizing North Idaho sunsets and moonrises, the plunge of an osprey after a fish, or the glowing lights of downtown Coeur d’Alene reflecting across its waters at night. Either way, it’s bound to be one of the most fascinating places you ever visit!
Discover the natural beauty and charm of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho by staying in this wonderful 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom house. With enough room to comfortably sleep 12 guests, this home is a great size for a family or group traveling together. The multifaceted views from this home are bound to be some of the most amazing views you’ve ever seen. The home looks out onto 2 different lakes, each with an entirely different personality; Lake Coeur d'Alene is a huge lake, with large and small watercraft of various kinds, and the other, Fernan Lake, is smaller and mainly used for kayaking, fishing, and by rowing teams from the nearby college. You’ll see snow-capped mountains, trees changing colors with the seasons, and the little Fernan Village below as well. Because the house is located on a cliff surrounded by trees, you’ll almost feel like you’re in a tree house (especially from the 3rd floor!). Enjoy the views from 3 levels of spacious outdoor decks totalling over 1200 sq ft, each beautifully furnished with BBQ grills on 2 floors. Gorgeous hand-finished cedar tree accents, which have been strategically placed throughout the home’s interior, complete the tree house feeling. You’ll stay entertained during your evenings here watching your favorite show on the lower-level 55-inch HD TV with surround sound. Cook delicious meals in the home’s fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops before a memorable family dinner around the huge dining room table. The kitchen island also has 3 stools for easy breakfasts or quick snacks.
Even though this home is only 2 miles from the city center, you’ll see tons of wildlife! Expect plenty of visits from deer, eagles, osprey, and wild turkeys – If you come during the right time, you might even get to see the wild turkeys teaching their babies to fly off the deck railing! Plus, the friendly owners live in an attached apartment, providing you with a great local resource if you have any questions, but still the privacy and amenities of your own place. In the winter enjoy great local cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, or visit one of the 5 ski mountains in the surrounding areas. Whether you’re seeking a vacation full of outdoor recreation and adventure or a relaxing family retreat, this home is sure to please.

We had a week to enjoy our stay here and had a great time. The house was in great shape and the owners, Kerry and Perry, couldn't have been nicer. We would come back in a second.
We were 3 couples staying for a week at Two Lakes Lodge. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Two Lakes View Lodge and the Coeur d'Alene area. There were many very great features in the house but several features that you need to know about (especially if you have a 3 couples trip)
--Large Balconies and View cannot be beat
--Great Dining Room with Views over the lakes
--Kitchen well equipped
--TV Room Downstairs very nice
--Great walkin shower in upstairs hallway
--Beds Very Comfortable
--Lots of room in basement that can accomodate more people
--Nice poolroom downstairs
--Great washer and dryer
--House faces South--great sitting on deck
--Shoes off policy which keeps the house clean
--Heated kitchen floor
--Close to great activities--hiking, biking, golf and tennis (1.5 miles away). Don't miss the Coeur d'Alene resort golf course with the floating green. I am an avid golfer and they have 7 or 8 signature holes on this beautiful course. Make sure to bike the Hiawatha Trail about 50 miles to the East.
Features of the House Which you need to be aware of (especially for a from a three couples trip) but did not keep us from having a fabulous time
--No shower in master bathroom--only large soaking tube with adjustable spray. If you wanted a shower, you needed to share hall shower with everybody in 3 upstairs bedrooms
--No bathroom door to master bathroom
--Bedrooms 2 and 3 are very small
--Bedrooms 2 and 3 do not have en-suite bathroom and share a hall bathroom
--Need a TV on main level
--No wine glasses or small glasses (weird because kitchen extremely well furnished)
This property was perfect for our family gathering. We were there eight days, had 25+ inches of snow and enjoyed every minute of it! Kitchen was wonderfully well appointed, large table allowed all of us to enjoy meals together. The decor was perfect for this mountain retreat! Kerry and Perry were most helpful with all our questions and providing area information. They even allowed us to ship Christmas presents early. Would highly recommend. Views were spectacular especially with the snow and we saw many animals in the wild from our decks. Internet, television, DVD all worked. Stove with special pans very nice; energy efficient washer and dryer great with four little boys.. One minor detail that you may want to know is there is only a tub in the master bath but close to other showers if that is your preference. House convenient to village, skiing areas, sledding hills, lakes and resort. Loved Coeur d'Alene!
When we first arrived at 3PM the house was not quite cleaned yet, however we were allowed to store our bags inside until later. Once we returned Perry welcomed us in and showed us the ropes. Everything was clean and tidy. Over the course of the three days we stayed there it had snowed (which was beautiful) however the entrance walk was never cleaned of the snow. This was a bit hazardous for us as we were coming and going with two 8 month old babies. Overall the house was everything we could have asked for with the vista being great. We would return without hesitation.
Three generations of our family stayed here, six and adults and four kids aged 5 to 11. It met our needs precisely. I have rented a dozen or so vacation homes and this one was as well stocked and supplied as it gets. We found everything we needed for cooking several big meals here; spices, utensils, dishes, everything. The appliances are in perfect condition and high quality. The pride of the house for us was the dining room table, which fit our party of ten perfectly, and made us feel like royalty. The view is absolutely unbeatable. The decks are a treasure. The beds are comfortable. The two quality pianos were a big treat. I loved that every bathroom had the basic shampoo etc you might need. All the towels, paper goods, pillows etc. you could need. We enjoyed the pool table, even had a tournament. There was just the right amount of toys to keep the kids busy. The blow up mattress and hideaway bed with mattress topper suited the kids perfectly. The flower bed in front is beautiful. The owners are wonderful to work with and responsive to every need. We really love this place!!! Will absolutely rent again if we ever return.
Loved the property. The views were absolutely beautiful from all the decks. We were close to so many
restaurants and places to see. We even spent one afternoon in Spokane. The owners were very helpful
and friendly. We would certainly consider staying here again. Rivaled any of the homes we have stayed
in at Sun River, Oregon.
