About Jason or Sarah

We are a Colorado family who love to visit Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We became frustrated with the lack of availability of clean, family and pet friendly lodging options in the area. That is why we purchased this cabin and are making it available for others to enjoy. We take pride in our cabin and hope that each guest feels at home during your stay.

Why Jason or Sarah chose Rocky Mountain National Park

We love the location of Grand Lake because it offers a plethora of activities throughout the year. As Grand Lakes motto says, 'just one season, yours.' The summer months in Grand Lake offer many outdoor activities including hiking at nearby Rocky Mountain National Park and partaking in daily park activities. Enjoy a boat ride on Grand Lake and spend the afternoon shopping along the boardwalk. Take is an evening performance at Grand Lake’s Theatre and have dinner at one of the many local restaurants. Fishing, horseback riding, golfing and mountain biking are just some of the spectacular summer events occurring each day in Grand Lake. The fall provides excellent opportunities to take in the beautiful autumn colors or enjoy the Elk Bugling. During the winter you can experience a whole new vacation destination. Grand Lake is the snowmobile capital of Colorado with over 125 miles of groomed trails. From our cabin you can directly access snowmobile, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails. In nearby Granby and Winterpark, you will find excellent downhill ski resorts.

Great property! Clean, inviting and fun

  • 5 of 5

Great first experience with VRBO! The cabin was just as described. I enjoyed this cabin because it was up away from the city of Grand Lake a bit. It wasn't desolate and away from everyone. Depending on who you are--- if you are looking for an "in the woods away from all society" this isn't that, but the neighborhood is cute and clean and not overrun with cabins.

The home was stocked with dishes and silverware / glasses.

Jason was very accommodating and I feel would provide any assistance you may need. They have passes for fishing and a CC in the area.

I loved it. It was perfect for a special person's birthday.

Excellent Property

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect house for our family. It was in the perfect location (close to the golf course) and has a great yard for the kids to play. The inside is very roomy and well stocked. The kids loved the loft area. We would love to come back in the fall or summer!

Positively Perfect in Every Way

  • 5 of 5

My family just enjoyed a delightful weekend in Grand Lake at the most "Positively Perfect in Every Way" cabin!

The owners have thought of everything and it was super clean. The two bathrooms are great with kids. Extra soaps made it feel like a spa.

Dog bowls will greet your furry friend! The owners were so easy to work with for the booking and made sure everything was perfect.

Easy access to Nordic Center and snowmobiling! Thanks for sharing your special home with us! We are excited to book another time!

Beautiful location, Cozy cottage with all amenities, close to everything

  • 5 of 5

The cottage itself is beautiful and well kept. Plenty of room for a family but cozy enough for a couples retreat. The kitchen was great with everything you need. The views were beautiful. The location was just perfect. We could walk around the neighborhood with amazing views of the mountains, lakes, and golf course. The golf course had been turned into a snow shoe/ski park which was great. There was plenty of dog trails to take our dogs hiking and snow-shoeing. Short drive to rocky mountain national park and down town Grand Lake. Just minutes away from the best snowmobiling in Colorado and we had a fantastic time doing that. Cant wait to come back for all seasons.

Great Location, Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

First impression was immediately that the cabin was very well kept, clean, and organized. Owners had everything that you needed to know on the fridge or counters. Location was just minutes from downtown Grand Lake. Hope to make it back again soon.
