We love the outdoors. . . hiking, ATVing, exploring. . . bird watching - and sailing in Seattle!
Rudi & Bert purchased this house in 2011
We were drawn to the beauty of the Long Valley scenery and the proximity to the surrounding National Parks.
Peaceful, quiet, & remote surrounded by 92 pristine acres of juniper and pine forest. 360 degree view from the top of a ridge off an 8' wrap-around deck. Pull up a deck chair and enjoy the view, catch some sun and then count the stars at night!
I just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your home. It was the perfect family getaway location and the views were amazing. We will definitely be back!!
Perfect place to stay between Zion and Bryce! Loved looking at the milky-way from the huge wrap-around porch. Beautiful scenery. Beautiful, spacious and spotless home with lots of windows. Pretty sunrise and sunsets. Lots of comfortable furniture. Very comfortable beds. Even the garage was nice!
Really lovely big house near the national parks in SW Utah. Rudi and Bert were very helpful. Our family loved the amenities (kids loved the ping pong table!).
Enjoyed the property. Spacious house. Loved having the grill to use for sausages. Only concern was when we arrived. Got there at night, no lights on road, drive up to property was a rough . Road not paved. Sign for property not lighted. Wasn't sure we were in the right place. No fault of owner, community not developed yet. Enjoyed our stay. Saw a lovely rainbow over the mountains from the wrap around porch. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks Bert and Rudi.
Seems to me that the ONLY problem we had with this home was it set the bar WAY TOO HIGH. All of the other lodgings at which we stayed paled in comparison to this wonderful home.
Rudi and Bert's communication and attention - excellent!
proximity to Zion and Bryce - perfect!
clean and well stocked- holy cow...yes!
vista - amazing!
We loved every minute!
Rudi and Bert have an incredible home and were gracious hosts with all of the materials, recommendations and information provided at their home to assist us in planning our trip. The Hatch, UT, location was perfect for exploring both Bryce and Zion National Parks, while being remote from the hustle and bustle of normal life to enjoy the mountains and beautiful terrain surrounding the home. The house was well appointed, well maintained, clean and again, the personal recommendations and information provided before the trip and at the house made our family vacation even more enjoyable (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.). Would highly recommend staying at this house/location!!
This was our second stay at the Ridgetop Mountain home and we enjoyed it both times. The 180' view is breathtaking both during the sunlight hours as well as by the light of the moon. The home is very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to be close to Bryce Canyon yet having the luxuries of home.
Hiking, ATV riding, mountain biking, fishing, exploring the wilderness, bird watching, . . .
