About Jim Dillon
Live in the Burlington Vermont area. We love the lakes and mountains of Vermont!
Jim Dillon purchased this House in 2002
Why Jim Dillon chose Eden
This is our only vacation home. We use it in the winter to ski at Jay Peak and in the summer for the lake. Lake Eden is very clean - great for swimming. None of the milfoil, weed or algae problems seen in other Vermont lakes. It's a wonderful relaxing escape.
What makes this House unique
Great waterfront, clean lake, a real "On Golden Pond" kind of experience. A rustic Vermont "camp" feel with all the modern conveniences. Great downhill and cross country skiing close by in winter. Jay Peak waterpark and skating rink are new attractions at Jay.

Wonderful escape in Eden, VT
My family - including our two dogs - loved staying her in February 2020. What a beautiful, comfortable place to escape from it all! We loved skiing at Craftsbury, doing the water park and climbing walls at Jay Peak - and relaxing at the house in front of the fire.
We had a great time in this beautiful lake house!!!
What a location
This property actually will surprise. It is much larger than the picture suggests. Kitchen is well equipped with large eat in booth which was great for us. There is a large great room with fireplace as well as a screened porch (which we didn't use - winter). Bedrooms are large.
It is at the end of a private road which could be problematic in winter. We had no difficulty but opted to leave early to avoid projected snow and freezing rain forecast.
It is 40 or so minutes away from several ski areas.
I think it would be great for a summer or fall get away.
My wife and I wanted to get away from southeast Pennsylvania to find a white Christmas. It doesn't happen around us very much anymore. We found it here in northern Vermont. The house is very cozy and we enjoyed a warm fire every night. We just hung out at the house for the most part and enjoyed looking at the lake and the people ice fishing. The lake is very quiet and peaceful this time of year. We really had a good time and enjoyed the house. I would recommend this place for families and couples.
Bitter cold but enjoyable
Lake Eden is a beautiful, secluded lake with a quiet 'On Golden Pond' feel. Lake Eden is very clean, with none of the weed or milfoil issues seen in other Vermont lakes. Jay Peak and Stowe Ski Resorts are about 30 minutes away. The Jay Peak Indoor Water Park is a major new year-round attraction. Jay Peak Resort Golf Course one of the best new courses in the country. Stowe, VT has many fine attractions and restaurants.
