Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Double Sofa Bed in the Lounge, 1 Bath, (sleeps 2-4)

Secluded on a tiny street leading to the trevi fountain all the rome’s must seen sites are literally at your fingertips. On the top floor of a well-maintained small building with a modern elevator, the apartment’s layout is suitable for 2 to 4 people. The awesome terrace to start and end your day drinking your coffee or chatting over a bottle of wine is the jewel of the apartment.

Layout: in its valuable top floor position the apartment is very quiet and the décor is sophisticated yet functional. The bright living room is furnished with a modern sofa that converts in a comfy double bed larger than a standard queen size. The large window allowing the sofa area to be surrounded by the greenery of the outside terrace, the roof window and the door to access the terrace are all provided by blackout curtains that can be pulled out to darken the room for those who are sleeping in the sofa bed or for a nap after returning from hours of daily sightseeing and activity.

Opening onto the living room is the kitchen. It features a dish-ware, large fridge with a roomy separate freezer section, washing clothes, dishwasher, four-burners gas stove, combination microwave/grill oven, kettle and espresso coffee machine. In the dining area the extendable table seats comfortably 4. The powerful air conditioner cools off the entire apartment during the warmest season.

In the bedroom a wardrobe with shelves protected by sand color curtains and built in cupboards have been designed for either longer or shorter stay. The bed is even larger than a queen size, its mattress and pillows are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive backs. It’s a very quiet bedroom and even with the window open you won’t hear any noise from the outside busy area. Only the song of the seagulls that come from the nearby river Tiber may sometimes wake you up. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, with grey and yellow mosaic tiles, a large glassed-in jacuzzi shower, toilet bidet and sink.

The charming terrace is the cherry. Accessible form the door in the living room is large enough to allow enjoying your meals out in the warmest seasons. It has a table and 4 chairs for dining al fresco, cozy even for 'night caps' or breakfast.

Best Location in Rome!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 spent 4 nights in this lovely apartment. It's perfectly located literally steps from the Trevi fountain which is such a treat to visit each morning before the crowds start. We walked to every main tourist site except the Vatican, which was only 4 subway stops away. There are shops and restaurants all over the neighbourhood and it didn't take long to figure out our way around. The limousine service was an absolute must. That was the best 45 euros we spent in Rome. It was so nice to have someone at the airport waiting to take us to the apartment and we had the driver take us back to the airport to pick up our rental car once we were finished in Rome. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, quiet and we always felt extremely safe. It was a little cramped for 4 adults but we would still highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Location! Location! Location!

  • 5 of 5

As the title says, the location of this apartment is just perfect. So close to the Trevi Fountain which puts you in the middle of the action in Rome. The best part of it is that even though you are centrally located, once inside the apartment you don't hear the hustle and bustle of outside. It is your quiet getaway from the fast pace action of Rome.

What makes this property stand out though is both the awesome terrace outside in which to see the rooftops and beautiful sky while enjoying some wine and cheese and the service you will get from Paola or one of her angels when checking in. Leave your guidebook at home because there are several on the bookshelf to use during your stay and Paola has provided some great recommendations of places around the apartment in which to dine or shop.

Did I mention this is a complete apartment also? Want to spend a night inside and do your own cooking? No problem. Been all over Italy and need to do some laundry? Great! There is a washer here. I spent way too much time looking for a great apartment to rent while on my honeymoon in Rome. As a favor to you reading this review, your search is over. Book this apartment now and you will not regret it.

A dream come true!

  • 4 of 5

This place is exactly what is looks like, a modern efficient apartment in a very convenient location with historical character and a great roof deck.

It's been a week since I left Rome, but when I close my eyes, I am still there. This little top floor apartment was my dream. Trevi is so crowded, you say? Well, I thought if I stayed at Trevi, I could see it morning noon and night, right? Coffee at Trevi in the morning sun, before the crowds show up at 10am, how can you go wrong? I was off to see other sights by then anyway. Back for a lunch of fresh ricotta from the shop on the ground floor, and fresh tomatoes and arugula from the little farmers-market cart on the corner, and I am off again. Museums and miles later, we could have a glass of wine again from the shop on the ground floor, and listen to the church bells on the roof while watching the sun go down.

The bed was firm, the shower was hot, the stove-top cooked my sausages and fritatta to perfection. However, the seagull on the roof stole my Yum Yum pizza, beware!

Perfect Central Rome Apartment!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was in a perfectly central location. It was clean and provided not only the essentials but also a gorgeous terrace and lots of light, which was exactly what I was looking for. Paola is extremely quick to respond to emails and was very sweet and helpful during my stay. If you are looking for a central apartment with lots of charm, convenience and the luxury of a terrace, you should book this place. You won't regret it!

Couldn't be better!

  • 5 of 5

I really enjoyed my stay at the Trevi Fountain Apartment. Everything was as I expected and had read on the description. The location can't get better since the trevi fountain is just a few steps away. The apartment is located in a street where you will find drinks, food, souvenirs etc. Even though it is in a very busy street, the apartment is really quiet. The bed and the sofa are really comfortable to sleep in. And the apartment is extremely cozy. Paola was an excellent host, she arrange our pick up and drop off at the airport. She also suggested some nice restaurants where we could go dine. I will definitely stay in the Trevi Fountain Apartment whenever I return to Rome. Don't think it twice! I SWEAR YOU WON'T REGRET IT! It's as good as it gets. Thanks of everything Paola!

Cristina.

Location Location Location! it's perfect

  • 5 of 5

The property was perfect for my 20 year old niece and i. We stayed for 5 days and were able to quickly maneauvor through the city. The cafe right next to our house was critical! It was my dream to see the Trevi fountain morning noon and night and we were able to!

Paolina was wonderful, from all my ahead of booking inquiries, to guiding me through my planning to get there. The car service to and from the airport was perfect, both of my drivers were prompt and at my door ahead of schedule.

The place had a one bedroom, but the living room sofa opened to a bed that my niece used. Even though it was December we did go on the terrace which was lovely.

Thank you for a wonderful trip!
