Only the song of the seagulls that come from the nearby river Tiber may sometimes wake you up. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, with grey and yellow mosaic tiles, a large glassed-in jacuzzi shower, toilet bidet and sink.

The charming terrace is the cherry. Accessible form the door in the living room is large enough to allow enjoying your meals out in the warmest seasons. It has a table and 4 chairs for dining al fresco, cozy even for 'night caps' or breakfast.

Great Location!!!

  • 4 of 5

Our stay started off slow, but quickly improved to be great. The location to this apartment could not have been better. Walking distance to everything! Our favorite thing to do was hang out on the terrace in the evening and listen to the people and music from down below on the cobblestone street and Trevi fountain.

Wonderfully located Trevi Fountain House

  • 4 of 5

Paola's apartment has great views from the terrace, and is unbelievably well located. 1 min to Trevi Fountain, 7 min to Spanish Steps, and from there another 2 mins to the beautiful Borghese Park for your morning run. Numerous great restaurants and shops abound in this lively neighborhood, and most stay open quite late in the evening. Very convenient.

Small Apartment near Trevi Fountain

  • 2 of 5

I really dislike writing a negative review but we were so disappointed with our apartment that I feel obligated to write so future renters will have a complete picture. Not all was bad. The little deck is nice if the weather is bearable. I enjoyed looking at the narrow passage way and listening to the sounds coming from all around. Because it is close to Trevi fountain I did get out to see the fountain at about 7:00 am when there were only a few visitors. Clothes dry quickly on the deck. I just wish there would have been laundry detergent so we didn’t have to search for a grocery.

We are a family of 4, parents and two 16 year olds. I am the shortest so I got the sleeping spot under the lowest part of the A-frame roof. I am 5’2” and I had to duck to get in and out of bed. The ceiling is lower in the second bedroom than the main room. Unfortunately, that section of the bed slanted toward the floor. The bed in the main room was okay. The apartment is not well suited for 4. I think 2 would be comfortable enough and I would not include any kids no matter how old. If there were 2 people the second bed could be used for suitcase/backpack since the shelves are not easy to use because of the slanted ceiling. The bathroom is tiny and a big person could not get in the door very easily. There is a sit-down shower that may appeal to someone. However, the shower is small and we didn’t try it.

The weather was boiling in Rome when we arrived the last week in June. The a/c had not been running and the second room took 2 days to cool down and that may have been because the weather cooled off.

A major problem for us was the sketchy WiFi. I let Paola know but she said it was working when we arrived and others said it worked. She did tell me the router was in the apartment across the hall. I know for a fact that the WiFi service is not reliable because our neighbors across the hall where the router was couldn’t keep a signal.

The 3 things most important to us are the beds, the Wifi and the a/c. None of those amenities were satisfactory. Again it would be a different experience for 2 or during the Fall, Winter or Spring but if Wifi is important to you that will be a problem.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. The apartment descriptions including the real size and the photos showing the low beam faithfully reflect the real condition of the apartment. I am sorry you have just considered the convenient rate for the 4 people/location and you did not carefully evaluated that it was too small for your family of 4. The laundry detergent was in the drawer under the kitchen sink. If you coud have ask for it in one of the various phone calls you made I could have told you. The sofa bed in the lounge has the purpose to sitting down other than to store luggages, clothes and backpacks.... The shelves in the bedroom are aimed for that use. WI FI was working at check in and during the various call you made as your kids confirmed. The AC was properly working. I remember that you actually have appreciated how the house was cool coming from outside at check in. If it was not properly working why you did not have complained about in your calls? Same for the beds. Not a mention in your calls. So sorry you are using the review just to mention the negative side of your stay. In fact not an appreciation for the location, highly appreciated by all the guests who have stayed at the apartment. Just a carelessly mention to the close Trevi Fountain only to say that you were used to go there at 7AM. Not a mention of the limousine service you have requested and I have happilly accommodated. Not a mention for the late check out I have accommodated for free. Thanks for cancelling the limousine at departure directly with the driver without warning me and without worrying of the time I have dedicated to book it. Reviews like yours looks most intended to hurt more than be helpful but I will still keep it in my mind to improve the service.

Best Location in Rome!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 spent 4 nights in this lovely apartment. It's perfectly located literally steps from the Trevi fountain which is such a treat to visit each morning before the crowds start. We walked to every main tourist site except the Vatican, which was only 4 subway stops away. There are shops and restaurants all over the neighbourhood and it didn't take long to figure out our way around. The limousine service was an absolute must. That was the best 45 euros we spent in Rome. It was so nice to have someone at the airport waiting to take us to the apartment and we had the driver take us back to the airport to pick up our rental car once we were finished in Rome. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, quiet and we always felt extremely safe. It was a little cramped for 4 adults but we would still highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Location! Location! Location!

  • 5 of 5

As the title says, the location of this apartment is just perfect. So close to the Trevi Fountain which puts you in the middle of the action in Rome. The best part of it is that even though you are centrally located, once inside the apartment you don't hear the hustle and bustle of outside. It is your quiet getaway from the fast pace action of Rome.

What makes this property stand out though is both the awesome terrace outside in which to see the rooftops and beautiful sky while enjoying some wine and cheese and the service you will get from Paola or one of her angels when checking in. Leave your guidebook at home because there are several on the bookshelf to use during your stay and Paola has provided some great recommendations of places around the apartment in which to dine or shop.

Did I mention this is a complete apartment also? Want to spend a night inside and do your own cooking? No problem. Been all over Italy and need to do some laundry? Great! There is a washer here. I spent way too much time looking for a great apartment to rent while on my honeymoon in Rome. As a favor to you reading this review, your search is over. Book this apartment now and you will not regret it.

In the heart of the historical center a few steps from the world famous trevi fountain. Close to everything and easy to get around rome on foot it's a walk to the colosseum, roman forum and capitoline museums, pantheon, navona square and even the vatican. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and of course world-class shopping. Excellent access to metro, taxis, and bus stops, and a well stocked supermarket is around the corner. The area is extremely safe, perfect for an evening stroll after a great meal, delighted by an italian world famous gelato! A trip to rome would not be complete without a stop at the trevi fountain to toss in three coins and make a wish.
