Welcome to the ”Venice Beach” of Seattle! This Mediterranean Villa is gorgeous in both its exterior attire and interior opulence. Situated on the famous Alki Beach strip, this home boasts a prime location for anyone looking to explore the city and its surroundings. There is never a dull moment for the whole family, for example, within a minute’s walk from the front door are multiple restaurants, lounges and Starbucks Coffee. In addition, rentals for a small fishing boat, kayak tours, beach bikes/trikes, roller blades, skateboards, standup paddle boards, etc., are all just less than 2 miles walk from the home. Other activities such as beach volleyball, strolls on the sandy beach (very rare for Puget Sound) fishing/crabbing and bonfires are just directly across the street. The proximity of this home makes it very convenient to visit areas like the Space Needle , Pike Place Market and a host of other tourist destinations that are considered a “must see” while you are here. In fact, there is a bus stop less than a minute’s walk from the home and a water ferry service 2 miles from the house that will take you directly to Seattle’s waterfront district and Pike Place Market. One of the Washington State Ferry terminals is a short drive away. With the stressful tasks of navigating and parking in downtown Seattle’s busy streets, these will surely allow you some nice second options.
For the interior, high-end materials were used throughout this home in its construction, such as limestone floors, wrought iron railings and designer windows. There are 4 bedrooms (2 queen beds, 2 twin beds and 1 King) and 3.5 baths. The home has 2 master bedroom suites with an en-suite bathroom in each. Both of the master bedrooms are on the top floor and have amazing views of the beach and water. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are on its separate floor and has its own 3/4 bathroom, but you will need to walk past the 3rd bedroom to access the 4th bedroom with the 2 twin beds. This setup is suitable for parents with children. There is also a balcony with an unobstructed view of the water and all the “action” on the beach. The gourmet kitchen has a Subzero fridge, Dacor gas stove, Bosch dishwasher and granite countertop. The dining table can seat 6 people and the island can seat another 3 for meals. The home is heated with radiant floor heat and 2 gas fireplaces. The living room has a 45” flat screen TV, ample seating and a queen pullout sofa bed. The property has a one-car parking stall suitable for a midsize car, but there is plenty of off-street parking on the weekdays. Weekends are busier.
NOTE: Base rates are for 6 people. There is a $20 per person per day charge from the 7th person and up. There is also a $500 security/damage deposit. 9.5% tax and $145 cleaning fee will be added to the total.
My wife's family is from West Seattle so this was a homecoming with her family for us.
The property was perfect for having friends and family together for the holidays. Great cooking / dining space and comfy living area. It was a home away from home and had all the amenities you could ask for and more. Ocean views and close to lets of cool restaurants and coffee shops. We will be back!

We were lucky enough to book this fantastic property for a long weekend trip. It's situated in a great area close to fantastic restaurants and bars, and the property itself is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. There is even a spacious balcony looking out over Alki Beach.
Further, the owner was incredibly nice and easy to deal with -- even when one of my travelling buddies set off the house alarm.
We had high hopes and they were all met. We'd book it again anytime.
Disclaimer: This review is based on my interactions with the owner and not the property itself. A couple months ago I booked this house for a group of friends. Sadly, these friends started bailing, one-by-one, so I cancelled this reservation and unfortunately, will not have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful property.
The reason for writing this review is purely because of my extremely positive and pleasant interactions with the owner, Chuong. I have booked many properties on VRBO before and I must say that Chuong, the owner, is the fastest responder among all of them. In fact, that is partially the reason why I picked this property in the first place- he simply got back to me before everyone else. He truly cares about the experience he provides for guests. This is demonstrated through the YouTube videos that have been created for guests that illustrate how to retrieve the key, how to use the fireplace, etc.
So if you are a renter that 1- wants an overall great experience and 2- requires prompt communication because you like to make rental decisions ASAP, the Alki Beach with Chuong is the way to go.
This house fit our family of 6 perfectly! There were plenty of comfy beds and our boys loved the basement set up for privacy as our daughter loved having her own room upstairs. The house is beautifully appointed but not stuffy and very comfortable. The location is perfect...clear beach views, sandy beach directly across the street and shopping/eating area right on the next block. We loved early morning walking, coffee and baked goods out in town and warm afternoons relaxing on the beach. Great TV and WiFi service. Yes, the parking space was tight for our mini van but we found street parking fairly easily. If I had to add something on the negative side, one extra comfy chair in the living room or an area rug to sack out on would be nice as all of our kids are in their 20's so we take up a lot of space...it did not detract from our all being together though!. Overall, this was a great accommodation and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely come back and recommend it highly to others. Last, but not least, we found the owner to be a gem to work with, responsive and helpful.
This rental is in a great location. It is across the street from the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. The property is well maintained and the owner is very prompt at responding to any questions or issues that may arise. The house was very nice. I didn't realize that two of the bedrooms were downstairs in a basement and initially wasn't sure if my 9 year old would be okay sleeping down there or not. It worked out okay though since my girls slept down there too. As far as amenities, an iron and ironing board would've been nice, but we just threw things in the dryer and it worked out okay. The kitchen had most everything you need. There were plenty of skillets, utensils, and dishes. Could use maybe one or two more pots. As far as negatives: initially I thought parking was going to be an issue. You can't park in front of the garage because it blocks the sidewalk and you can get a ticket. The designated space around back is made for something compact. We have a 2014 Highlander and it just didn't fit in the space. If we parked so the car next to us could open their door, then we couldn't open the driver side door because it was too close to the house. There is parking on the street but this is a very popular area so it was hard to find a good spot close initially. It does start to clear out some in the evening though so we were able to park closer after about 7 pm. Overall we were very pleased and would rent this property again.
My husband and I were so happy with our stay in this beautiful home. The location right across from the beach can't be beat. Beautiful ocean views from every room. The house is nicely appointed and the beds are really comfortable. You can walk everywhere -- make sure at least one meal is at Duke's Chowder house!!! The owner is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property. Our stay ended too soon!!
