-Seconds to most amenities, 3-5 minutes to 4 golf courses & 15 minutes to 5th golf course in this area, 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to beach as well as minutes to walking/running/biking trails.

About Michele Coles

Grew up in Charlottetown, as a single Mom with 2 sons. Had this home built for us doing a lot of the manual labour myself, as a means to lower costs. During the summer it was being built I also worked at Avonlea Village, a tourist attraction, next door.

Within walking distance to Cavendish Beach, this year round home provides all the amenities of a tourist resort area without any of the hustle and bustle, as it is on a private road. Open fields behind the property present a wonderful place to walk as do the groomed paths of the Parks Canada Trails.

What makes this house unique

There is a lovely 2 person swing beneath an apple tree which is affords an excellent view of the setting sun, or a wonderful place to read a book. As well, there is a hammock in the shade in a quiet area of the yard under some trees. And one of our favorite things is to have a camp fire and sit in the swing.

Lovely cottage on beautiful quiet lot near everything

My sister and I stayed here for a few days after leaving Charlottetown. We wanted a base to visit other areas of the island. This cottage was more than we expected. It has everything you need right down to a washer, dryer and even a dishwasher. A lot of love has been put into this cottage and the landscaping was beautiful. There were lots of games and books and plenty of information about the surrounding area. This cottage was decorated in a rustic theme; just what we wanted when booking a cottage. The place was so quiet and relaxing but so very near all the tourist's hot spots. Would love to be able to stay here again. Thanks Michele and Doug

Great Location - Wonderful Home

The house is very close to all the action in Cavendish, which we found very convenient. Despite it being right near the thick of everything, there were plenty of trees around the property so we actually felt like we were far removed. Michele has not overlooked any small detail - the wraparound deck and landscaping made it truly magical. This is our 7th trip to PEI, but our first time at this home, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Fantastic cottage with lots of space inside and out.

Located at Cavendish, this cottage has lots of lawn for the children to play and large deck areas with ample chairs and tables to relax. You can always find a shady place to sit.

The cottage is well supplied with everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals, towels for the beach, a great BBQ and a fire pit for a night fire and smores.

We also took advantage of the park pass which was supplied.

We hosted a family gathering of 25 with ease one evening.

There were five in our party, and there was loads of room.

A blessing in Green Gables

We spent 10 nights here but the charming experience began even before we reached with owner Michele's prompt and accommodating responses. It was especially great that the WiFi in the cottage was installed before we reached!

The cottage is a little old but furnished with love. It is fully equipped and well stocked with linen, towels, pillows, fans, TVs, players (Blu-ray!), kitchen utensils, condiments, dish and laundry detergent and more! It made traveling with 4 young kids that much easier having a well equipped and comfortable place to come home to after a day out. There was plenty of grounds for my 4 kids to run around and patio furniture for just chilling outside when we stayed in. Our party of 7 with ages ranging from 4 to 70 was very comfortable.

We enjoyed the proximity to amenities such as the Tourist Mart, dollar store, shops, eateries and the Avonlea village (my kids took a lovely walked over for Cow's ice cream!). I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a centrally located, fully equipped property with excellent owners!

Great house and location!

In short,

We loved it.

The house was perfect: well equipped, maintained, great condition. Everything we needed was there.

The location is what we wanted - close to all the sight seeing attractions, beaches, etc.

A special thanks to the hosts, Michele and Douglas. Very friendly, quick to react and they provided excellent advice as to what to do and see, where to eat, etc.

We recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax in Cavendish, without worrying about anything else.

Beautiful home!

A beautiful little home & a great experience, minutes away from Golfing, the beach, a park, the Green Gables tours..

Michele has a vegetable garden that she allowed us to use, I was fortunate enough to be vacationing with 2 Chefs who loved using the veggies & herbs.
