The entry has a covered porch, where you can enjoy morning coffee or sunset cocktails while basking in the 180-degree panorama. The front yard is landscaped with succulents and natives - including the electric-pink ground-cover that flourishes in the area.
The sliding-glass front door opens to a living room with a wall of windows, hardwood floors and a brick gas fireplace. An ocean-inspired color scheme of blues and greens, handsome mid-century modern teak furnishings and Asian accents can be found throughout the house. A handsome teak cabinet displays a shell collection.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complementary wine and cheese, passes to the renown Spa on the Plaza in downtown Monterey, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear.
Relax and take in the vistas from a cozy grouping of living room furnishings that include a cream sofa, 2 contemporary upholstered chairs, a teak coffee table and a sea-blue area rug. A 50” flat-screen TV over the fireplace allows you to simultaneously enjoy a warm fire, entertainment and ocean views. A Blu-Ray DVD player and a video library are provided.
Off the living room and down a step is a comfortable family room with a brick-colored painted floor covered by a multi-colored rag rug. A unique teak bench -- 2 chairs with cushions adjoined by a table - is situated in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting you to sit and gaze out at the bay, lose yourself in a good novel or enjoy a conversation. A library of books, games and binoculars are provided. Washer and dryer are located in this room as well.
A bright, efficient kitchen with white cabinets and coral tile provides everything you need for preparing gourmet meals, including a range with induction burners, refrigerator, dishwasher and various small appliances. Beautiful dishes, glassware, table linens and accoutrements allow for elegant entertaining.
The adjacent dining room has a mid-century modern teak table that can seat up to 8 and upholstered chairs.

We had a wonderful week at Sea Dance. The views are spectacular and we had everything we could have possibly needed for the entire week from linens, to dishes, to entertainment (TV, BlueRay, grill, games, beach gear, etc.). We saw otters, sea lions, deer, and watched some beautiful sunsets from our front porch. The location is convenient to shopping as well as downtown Pacific Grove. The area has so much to offer in terms of recreation. We enjoyed the Aquarium, beaches, shopping, horseback riding, restaurants, and just relaxing in the living room and enjoying the view. Thank you so much for allowing us to s[end a week in your home. We created some memories that will be unforgettable!

This house was so amazing. My family and I came up here to honor the anniversary of my husbands passing. In every way shape and form was this the most perfect weekend for my family. Each staff member that I spoke with was so kind and accommodating. I just got back home yesterday and I have already booked another vacation in this house. This will definitely be my families go to house for vacations! LOVE LOVE LOVE :)
Our family enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday. Million dollar views!! Enough comfortable room for all. We enjoy walking along the water...2 miles to Cannery Row and about 3 miles to Carmel beach. Just perfect!
Our 40th Anniversay couldn't have been better. From the moment you walk in, you feel the luxury of the decor, but at the same time feel so warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable, plenty of added touches for comfort. Kitchen was a bit outdated, but had all the tools needed to cook whatever we wanted with ease. Waking up in the morning to find the most unique options, coffee on the front porch watching the ocean waves or walking across the small street to a beautiful beach & cove filled with wildlife, tide pools, seashells and sea glass. Only the lucky get to experience this. At night you will see families of deer snacking on vegetation on the beach, something you don't see often. We really felt one week was just not enough, so we will be back for more bike riding, beach combing, and the beautiful life in this home. We plan to make this our favorite place to rent when we come to Pacific grove. The only thing I would add to this house....a hot tub. The stars at night from the back yard would be a show in itself.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Seadance with our family (ages ranged from 15 months to 65)! The view was amazing, and it was a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful area. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home had very comfortable furnishings. Thank you for a fabulous stay and many great memories.
Excellent Stay. No issues at all and was the best house we have rented. Great attention to detail and perfect location. Only item is that the outside is in need of some maintenance, cleaning, etc.
The property is nice. The view is amazing. We had a great time just hanging out on the porch taking in the waves. Everything was good the Kitchen is well stocked with what you need to cook up breakfast. Saturday I saw my first whale. The wine and cheese was an awesome way to get settled in. Will definitely look into staying here again. Went to Peppers for lunch was very good. And the Beach House for dinner.

Enjoy a walking tour of downtown Pacific Grove. The town had its beginning in 1875 as a summer Methodist camp where several hundreds assembled to worship amidst rough tents. Tour brochures are available at the Chamber.
Pacific Grove's Past:
The town had its beginning in 1875 as a summer Methodist camp, where several hundred people assembled to worship amidst rough tents. In time, the fragrant pines and fresh sea air brought others to the Pacific Grove Retreat to rest and meditate. The first camp meeting of the Pacific Coast branch of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle was held here in June 1879. Fashioned after the Methodist Sunday school teachers' training camp established in 1874 at Lake Chautauqua, N.Y., this location became part of a nation-wide educational/cultural network.
In November 1879, after the summer campers returned home, Robert Louis Stevenson wandered into the deserted campgrounds: I have never been in any place so dreamlike. Indeed, it was not so much like a deserted town as like a scene upon the stage by daylight, and with no one on the boards -- from 'The Old Pacific Capitol'
By 1889, the resort was incorporated, becoming the City of Pacific Grove. The last P.G. Chautauqua was held in August 1926.
