We had a wonderful week at Sea Dance. The views are spectacular and we had everything we could have possibly needed for the entire week from linens, to dishes, to entertainment (TV, BlueRay, grill, games, beach gear, etc.). We saw otters, sea lions, deer, and watched some beautiful sunsets from our front porch. The location is convenient to shopping as well as downtown Pacific Grove. The area has so much to offer in terms of recreation. We enjoyed the Aquarium, beaches, shopping, horseback riding, restaurants, and just relaxing in the living room and enjoying the view. Thank you so much for allowing us to s[end a week in your home. We created some memories that will be unforgettable!
Excellent Stay. No issues at all and was the best house we have rented. Great attention to detail and perfect location. Only item is that the outside is in need of some maintenance, cleaning, etc.
The property is nice. The view is amazing. We had a great time just hanging out on the porch taking in the waves. Everything was good the Kitchen is well stocked with what you need to cook up breakfast. Saturday I saw my first whale. The wine and cheese was an awesome way to get settled in. Will definitely look into staying here again. Went to Peppers for lunch was very good. And the Beach House for dinner.
For a small group of golf buddies, this was the perfect location. The view of the coastline and ocean added to the whole experience of golf on the Peninsula. The house is comfortable and offers everything we needed. Will absolutely be back for our next golf trip.
This house was so well-maintained & appointed. The attention to detail was very noticeable; from the robes in the closets to the spa toiletries, toys, games, beach chairs, toys, etc., etc. The incredible view was unparalleled making it difficult to leave. If you have kids, this is the place for your family. Our grandkids walked right across the street, down the steps & to the tide pools every day.
We loved our house in Monterey. It was just across the street from the ocean with trails that went for miles. It was so fun to sit on the front porch and watch people go by on the trail. The first night we were there, we had our complimentary bottle of wine on the porch and watched the military personnel do their running on the trail. It was so cool! Although, it made me almost feel guilty, almost.
The house was well stocked. It was a little cool outside, so the fireplace was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal. We drove to a store just a couple miles away to buy groceries for the few days stay and had a great time cooking in the kitchen. Although, we really didn't have to cook for ourselves because there are several great restaurants nearby.
The decor is so professionally done, I was a little nervous about accidents. But we used the coasters provided and tried to be neat and it turned out to be a great time. We would definitely go back.
We had a great family get away with them kids and grandparents. The house was clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed watching all the marine life just out the windows. We walked to the aquarium, downtown PG, cruised the ward on a Siri bike, and played at the beach across the street. It was a fun relaxing weekend.

Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Course is the top rated municipal golf in the state with over 70,000 rounds played annually. Enjoy a walking tour of downtown Pacific Grove. The town had its beginning in 1875 as a summer Methodist camp where several hundreds assembled to worship amidst rough tents. Tour brochures are available at the Chamber.
Pacific Grove's Past:
The town had its beginning in 1875 as a summer Methodist camp, where several hundred people assembled to worship amidst rough tents. In time, the fragrant pines and fresh sea air brought others to the Pacific Grove Retreat to rest and meditate. The first camp meeting of the Pacific Coast branch of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle was held here in June 1879. Fashioned after the Methodist Sunday school teachers' training camp established in 1874 at Lake Chautauqua, N.Y., this location became part of a nation-wide educational/cultural network.
In November 1879, after the summer campers returned home, Robert Louis Stevenson wandered into the deserted campgrounds: I have never been in any place so dreamlike. Indeed, it was not so much like a deserted town as like a scene upon the stage by daylight, and with no one on the boards -- from 'The Old Pacific Capitol'
By 1889, the resort was incorporated, becoming the City of Pacific Grove. The last P.G. Chautauqua was held in August 1926.
