About Kat Gray

We are Kat & Matt Gray and we welcome you to our Woodstock home! We are Vermont natives and have lived in Woodstock for 20 years; we simply love it here. Falcon House is our second HomeAway property in Woodstock. Our own home and property (Dana Road House) # 223034 are located 2 miles from Falcon House, with our 3rd property, The Aerie, located next door. We purchased this property in April 2013 and have freshly landscaped and renovated the home and property. We look forward to making your stay here in Woodstock Vermont both pleasurable and relaxing.

Why Kat Gray chose West Woodstock

We discovered Falcon house while on a bike ride and fell in love with it's unique and thoughtful design, the forest that surrounds it and the clean, cool brook which runs by the house. We know you'll love it too! What ever brings you to Woodstock, you will enjoy coming home to this comfy house at the end of the day. We've tried to think of everything you will possibly need to make your stay a special one. Enjoy the privacy of a country setting and convenience of being close to the village.

What makes this house unique

Falcon House is a special place. From an original design by famed architect Myron Goldfinger, this home has some truly unique design features and is incredibly well constructed. From the hand made Mexican ceramic tile floors (look for the chicken tracks) to the hand pegged spiral staircase, the house is amazing. It's so close to the village but really feels away from it all. You'll find everything you need to make yourself at home, we find we have many guests who enjoy our properties so much they return year after year.

Quintessential New England

  • 5 of 5

which is what we were seeking. The owner has it all right and for once, we got a chance to meet them which is a plus. Neither did we feel that we were bothering them if we had a question or concern, even on a Christmas weekend. Having travelled extensively, we felt at home and welcome and there was nothing missing that we might have needed.

Falcon house was comfortable, relaxing, and extremely clean.

  • 5 of 5

Falcon House was more than we hoped it would be. It was perfect for the four of us (two couples) and we liked the ease and comfort of it. The directions were easy to follow and everything was ready and waiting for us when we got there. The communication during the pre-rental and during our stay was outstanding. It was a quick drive to the town of Woodstock and was centrally located to all of the other places we visited. Every house has one quality that stands out about it and for this house it was "Cleanliness". The house was immaculate and all of the amenities were top notch. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back again next year!

Thoughtfully put together

  • 5 of 5

An excellent little vacation home located about 10 minutes outside of Woodstock. Very quiet property. The preparation of the home by the host was near professional with small touches throughout that really shows how much they care about the guest experience. The house itself is well done with a fully stocked kitchen, nice furnishings, and fresh towels/linens.
