We would stay here again!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in Rehoboth! This condo was clean and comfortably spacious for ten people. We lacked nothing in the kitchen as it was stocked with plenty of cooking/eating utensils. It was great having two living rooms, each with it's own television. The complex location is conveniently located for shopping, Revelation brewery, and beautiful bike trails. We enjoyed the pool and gym as well. Trash and recycling dumpsters are not far from this unit. Make sure to bring your own towels and linens.

The only minor complaint was keeping everyone in the house comfortable with the temperature. Having only a thermostat on the middle floor, those on first floor were cold while those on third floor were slightly warm, but this was easily rectified with more or less blankets on the beds.

We would definitely stay here again!

Canal pointe

  • 5 of 5

This place is very nice and very accommodating. Everything you need is there. It is close enough to the beach area and far enough from the commercial part of the town. Having bikes and beach chairs is a real plus. The grill out back is a little small for cooking for a larger group.

Great place, would recommend

  • 5 of 5

Place is very roomy and well kept. Only a short drive to the beach. It's fairly quiet, which is great for a young family (baby/toddlers that need to sleep). Place comes well stocked and is easy to make your home for the week. Only complaint would be you need to bring your own linens. Other then that it was great to stay there.

Spacious, Clean and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our week long stay at this property. The house was spotless and comfortable. All appliances worked well including the high efficiency washer and dryer which were a genuine convenience. The kitchen eating area and the sun room in the rear are beautiful with a lot of light. We used Chrome Cast to access video services on the large screen TV in the large living room area. The rear is particularly nice with a quiet view of the pond and woods. The bedrooms have lots of room and the bedding is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all needed utensils and a pantry for ones groceries. There is food and outlet shopping nearby (0.5 mi.) and the beach a bit further. We went the busiest week of the year (July 4th) so traffic was heavy and parking at the beach scarce. The only amenity that is wanting is the lone tennis court for many, many units. The net was in poor repair (several holes and not adjustable to correct height.) At each end of the tennis court is a basketball hoop. Therefore, one is competing for time with every other tennis player or teenage basketball enthusiast in this large group of houses and condominiums. This sits next to a very large parking lot that could easily accommodate another tennis court or two. Fortunately, our unit had four or five functional bikes which we used on the trails that are very nearby to keep one off the main roads. We were pleased with our stay.

We won't be staying here again.

  • 2 of 5

Two things about our week-long vacation here really bothered us. 1. We were told there were 5 bikes on the property. Two of them were, in fact, inoperable. When we e-mailed the owner about them we received no response. The bikes remained inoperable the entire week. 2. The owner left painfully detailed instructions for cleaning the house at the end of our vacation. We followed them completely. 8 adults spent 2 hours on our last morning (16 person-hours) cleaning. We even thoroughly cleaned the fridge. And yet, when our security deposit was returned, the owner held back $150 to pay for a cleaner. When we contacted the owner to ask for an explanation the owner never responded. This August vacation was our first experience with a VBRO. Before this our party stayed for many years at managed properties in the Outer Banks. We wanted to vacation closer to Pennsylvania this year. On-line, this property seemed fine, the owner seemed attentive, and Rehoboth Beach seemed inviting. In reality, the property was awkwardly laid out, the owner was unresponsive, and Rehoboth Beach is an over-packed nightmare for parking. The whole experience, especially the extra charge, has left a bad taste in our mouths for VRBOs. Can the owner just take money from one's security deposit for whatever reason they make up? If they are not responsive for things that go wrong in their home, do the renters have any recourse? When we vacation at a beach next year we will rent a home through a real estate agent. And it won't be at this poorly managed VRBO.
