Giannalda Fontana purchased this house in 1996
Hidden away in the west-end....
....and yet so conveniently located.
The house was very clean, exactly as pictured. It is a really great location, we walked everywhere. We had great email/phone communication with the owner when we needed it. The kitchen was well appointed, we ate in most nights. The new windows really make it surprisingly bright and airy inside, even on a dreary day. We would defiantly stay there again.
My family had a wonderful week at this house and plan on returning next year. The owner was very accommodating, and the house lives up to its description. A well-stocked kitchen, large back yard, and an easy walk both to the lively downtown on Commercial Street and to the quieter West End. Great location for families with young children, as one of the town's few playgrounds is just two blocks away.
We've been coming to Ptown for 9 years and this was our best rental ever. The house has a great layout. The backyard and deck are perfect for breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The house is in great condition and was very clean. It has a perfect location that is quiet yet close to all the fun of Ptown. The owner was very helpful and provide all the information we needed for a great time. I can't recommend this place enough!
We're longstanding visitors to Ptown (and former home owners there) and found this home to be an ideal blend of convenience, charm and comfort. The kitchen is sizable with new full size appliances (we didn't cook during out stay but it would have been easy to prepare full dinners). There is an open and airy feel that makes the first floor very comfortable; doors and windows can be opened to create a delightful cross-breeze (even though there is window A/C if needed). The yard and deck are private, easy to access and have sun and shade at various times of the day. Everything was neat and clean and as shown in the pictures. All our expectations were met. A small suggestion is to have one kitchen cabinet left mostly empty (all were full with kitchenware). This would help a lot for storage of dried food or snacks by a temporary renter. And the upstairs full bathroom has a hand-held shower than is mounted rather low to use as shower. These small points aside, we're already planning to return. The owner is very responsive and has been very helpful to us.
My husband, our two young babies and our old dog stayed at the house for a week in July. The house is completely charming, with a beautiful yard, a very p-town feel, on the nicest side-street, and in the perfect walkable location in the quiet but close west end. The living space was plenty big, the back yard was great and quiet. If you're looking for a private quiet house but close to everything, this is perfect.
I've walked by Whorfs Court many times when visiting Provincetown, but never ventured down this charming street before my stay. The house is located on a quiet dead-end street but just a very short walk to Commercial Street and the shops/restaurants/harbor. The house was clean, cozy, gets great light and cross breezes. I enjoyed my stay very much and the owner was a pleasure to interact with.
