Super romantic setting! This luxury condo is on the second floor (Best for security) Unlike some condos in this complex, our unit has an elevator and PRIVATE OUTDOOR KITCHEN WITH GAS GRILL.. We hand-picked this unit to give us the best view and privacy. It is at the end of the complex closest to the beach. The view from the deck is of the lake of the golf course to one side and the fairways to the other. (ocean is in the distance past the lake). We are several hundred feet from the golf course, so you do not get the noise. We also have Boogie Boards, snorkels, beach towels, beach chairs and other beach items for your enjoyment. (Loungers on the beach)
The condo is nicely appointed with granite counter tops, 2 full tile bathrooms, master bedroom with walk-in closet, new appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, air conditioning (a must), Lanai with a view and outside stainless gas grill kitchen (private, not shared, on deck), 2 swimming pools,2 hot tubs, workout center and it’s own garage (that’s a premium for Big Island condo’s), free high speed cable internet unlimited, 2 cable TV’s, living room 47' 1080dpi HDTV (one in the master), DVD players, king master bed, silverware, pot, pans, coffee maker, spices, etc. all you need to live comfortably.
Master bedroom has a mission style king bed. The second bedroom has two twins that can be made into one king sized bed. There is also a queen sized hide a bed. We also have a Pack & Play for the little ones.
THE AREA: this unit is located right next to the King’s and Queen Shops and just before the entrance to the Marriott. The A-bay (Anaeho’omalu bay) is just on the other side of the Marriott (great for happy hour food and drinks, hula show). It is a short walk or you can drive 2 minutes and park at the beach access parking lot next door. This is a great bay for the family with low surf, sandy beach, rentals of kayaks, boards, snorkel, glass bottom boat, touch-lit beach etc. turtles lay up on the beach in the evening. You could really never drive and experience most of what the Big Island has to offer.
The Kings and queen shops are modern outside walking malls with restaurants (like Romano's Macaroni Grill and local venues), bars, grocery stores, clothes shops and my wife’s favorite, STARBUCKS.
Golf: there are 2 golf courses right next to the condo and many others within a few minutes drive. The Kings’ Course 18 holes was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, par 72 and the Beach Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, par 70. We have discounts at the Kings Course.

best place in the world. Well; we think it is the best area on the island. In the Resort area north of the airport, but close enough to the older Kona area to visit. We like both areas, but want to stay and sleep in at the newer, higherend area.

Beautiful place with excellent amenities
We had a wonderful time in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area.
Our family had a such wonderful stay here! Condo was clean and organized. The parking garage was super convenient as our car never got hot & we didn't have to drive around looking for a spot. Location was convenient with the shops across the way and just a short drive to various beaches. Owner was friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Great location, and Unit
This was our first visit to the Big Island (we’ve stayed on Maui a LOT!). I can’t tell you how pleasantly surprised we were with this unit. Clean, well-stocked and organized and there was even fresh food in the fridge and in the cupboards for us to use. All other units we’ve stayed in are completely cleaned out. It was a really nice touch to find some shampoo and soap, have a bit of coffee left over and a few cans of pop in the fridge! The unit is big, airy and perfect for our family of 4. The lanai is great and has a decent view although it’s a bit loud since it’s close to the gas station and golf course whose trucks and blowers were going pretty early in the morning. The only thing I would change about the unit is to replace the carpet as it was getting a bit old/worn/stained. But overall, a great place, well stocked, organized. Thanks for making our first stay on Hawai’i memorable - we’ll be back!
Great condo in a great location for a family holiday
This condo was great! It was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was in a great location being close to beaches, stores and restaurants. The owner was great to deal with. We look forward to staying here again sometime!
With some effort it could have been 5 stars
Let's start with the good. Layout and location very good. Great views, easy walk to shops and restaurants. At the same time very private. Major appliances were all good and in working order. The balcony kitchen was a big plus. (Although a manual for the grill would have been very helpful. Could not figure out how to take it apart for cleaning. Model number was worn off and could not get information online). Complex landscaping was very beautiful and impeccable. Very short walk to a nice swimming pool. We feel the layout is very good for four adults. The two dining tables were adequate but not so good for comfort so we ended up purchasing cushions for the outdoor table since we spent most of our time there.
Now the not so good. Master bath, in particular the shower, was not clean. Mold, mildew and stains everywhere. Door track packed with debris and door loose in its frame. Took hours to get this clean before we felt comfortable to use it. Overall, the furniture was very dusty. The living-dining area carpet had many stains. Sliding door and window tracks packed with debris. Necessary to purchase wine glasses as there were only two in the unit. All beach equipment-umbrella and chairs were useless so we purchased new and the owner reimbursed us. The kitchen utensils needed to be upgraded. Frying pan Teflon was worn out. Very minimal dishes and we hand washed most every night as it was inadequate for ourselves and guests to use the dishwasher.
We did have contact with the owner regarding various issues. He seemed surprised and somewhat defensive about our comments.
One of our guests put it succinctly: It's like a football team, stuck at the 10-yard line and just can't score a touchdown, which would be five stars.
