About Judsen Gundersen
My name is Judd Gundersen and I own this cabin with my wife Christine. Christine originally purchased this cabin while we were first dating in 2007. Today, we are married and have a 5 year old son. After purchasing the cabin our first order of business was to make the yard dog friendly. Our three dogs now enjoy the fenced backyard as well as the many dog friendly activities that the area has to offer. We try to spend as much time as possible in Big Bear. We usually find ourselves spending more time during the summer at the cabin to escape the heat of Las Vegas, our current home. While at the cabin we enjoy hiking, boating, fishing, riding motorcycles and ATVs and dining at the many great restaurants in the area.

Why Judsen Gundersen chose Big Bear Lake
Living in Las Vegas made Christine miss the green landscape of the east coast. She decided to look for property in Big Bear because it has something to offer during all four seasons.
What makes this Cabin unique
We looked at many cabins in Big Bear but were absolutely sold on this one. We loved the sunken fireplace, the recessed lot, the close proximity to Snow Summit and the available trailer parking during the summer.

Gracias por todo
Muchas gracias por todo.
Estuvimos muy cómodos y contentos en la cabaña.
Todo estuvo perfecto. Esperamos volver pronto.
Exactly as described, walking distance to Snow Summit.
The owner was very easy to communicate with, the cabin and spa were warm when we arrived. It starting snowing about an hour after we arrived and was a completely magical experience for our daughter. The cabin was cozy, and stocked with firewood. The kitchen while small had everything that I needed to cook all of our meals plus some extras like spices and a s’mores kit! The beds were comfortable with lots of warm blankets. The decor is adorable, lots of DVD’s to choose from. The yard is fenced with a dog door so we never had to worry about our dogs. It was also a walking distance to the rental place we used to get snow gear and a snow board. About a 2 minute drive to the grocery store and the Starbucks. We haven’t checked out yet but today I am hoping to go to the village which is also only a few minute drive away. Oh! And the driveway was plowed for us also, which was great!
Great place to stay.
Got my gear on in the comfort of the cabin and walked to the lift. Convenient AF. After boarding all day the well kept spa was nice and relaxing. The cabin was clean and the perfect size for my group. I will definitely be back.
Very cozy cabin and close to the slopes
Been here, to this cabin 4 yrs in a row and we always look first to see if this cabin is available, for the weekend that we plan on coming to Big Bear

We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac that adds to the mountain escape experience without taking you far from the entertainment.
Snow Summit is a 3-5 minute walk from our front door allowing you to avoid the resort parking. There is a shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes from Snow Summit to Bear Mountain.
Big Bear Lake provides fishing and boating fun all summer long. The nearest launch ramp is a short 5 minute drive. Our cabin is perfect for those bringing their own boat because of trailer parking available on our property.
