Why Lisa Van Allen chose Village At Walnut Creek
This condo is the perfect combination having a relaxed natural setting on Walnut creek jogging trails and being right off of Loop 1 which is the ONLY WAY to get around Austin (for your own sake PLEASE stay off of I-35 if you can!).

This is a condo complex built in the 80's. Ten years overdo for upkeep and maintenance. Nice pool but was not open during our entire two month stay. Local owner told us that only 20%of the owner live which means that there is 80% is rentals. There was extensive maintenance and repair going on for our entire stay. Our unit was very small with some issues like the fact that the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. The dresser had super small drawers so we live out of suitcase. Small walk in closet , noisy refrigerator and a tv with only local stations and a number of Stations that were movie and/or tapes. We did like the location ( north Austin ) and there were plenty of good places to eat and unlimited places to shop( the Domain), close to a hospital. If your retired , be aware the traffic in and around Austin is Herendouse. May even effect your desire to travel to local attractions. It did with us. Population is young and seem to drive well above the speed limit. We have family here so we spent time in Lakeway and Pflugerville and travelled on toll roads and got a txtag for our car ( recommended). All inall I would rate this condo as a 4 on a 1 to 10 scale. Likely will not return
Thanks for leaving the feedback. Two of the big things you mentioned are being addressed as we speak. The pool access system is being installed and over a million dollars of upgrades to the property exterior are being completed and should be done in a month or so. We know the pool area with the oak trees is the centerpiece of the property so the fact that the management hadn’t gotten the access system installed was frustrating…for us too! We’ll also take your other comments into consideration and see what we can do. Thanks again!
Great location to see everything in Austin
Four sisters came together for a weekend in Austin. This was a perfect location. Everything was just as promised. Perfect to use as a place to relax and regroup after fun filled days in Austin, TX. Thank you Lisa for your assistance.
Great Galveston get away
This Seawall Blvd condo was perfect for our Galveston get away. Well furnished and comfortable, nice pool, very usable kitchen with all we needed, comfortable bed and shower, with nice ocean view. All we were looking for our annual Galveston get away. While there were just the two of us, there was room for kids to sleep. Great facility, well-maintained, clean and pleasant. Will definitely be returning.
Enjoyed our stay.
It was just as described.... It was in a quiet area and a perfect place to escape back to for the evenings. It was clean and neat and easily accessible. Also it was next to great shopping and not far from the nightlife. Would recommend to friends. Lisa made it very easy.
Cozy place in an accessible location
This apartment is nice and clean. Large walk in closet space fit all my clothes. The space is cozy and the furniture is comfortable. When the outside temperature dropped to 28 degrees I realized that the heater didn't work. I notified the owner who immediately brought me a space heater and quickly had a the heat repaired. Responsive and friendly owner. I would stay here again.
Perfect for long term stays!
I arrived and was really surprised this little place! The Van Allen`s were very helpful. Thank you for the great stay!
Obviously there is a ton of fun stuff to do in Austin...that's why you are coming. Our condo is conveniently located off of Loop 1 (Mopac) so you can get downtown in about 12 minutes. We are also right on the Metro bus line and 1 mile from the Metro Rail line...you can take the bus in from the Airport, downtown, or anywhere! The condo itself is situated on a greenbelt trail between two nice Austin parks and has a great Live Oak shaded pool and hot tub and a fitness room.
