The condo is a first floor unit and the living room faces the mountain which opens to a covered patio. There’s plenty of parking in front of building or underground garage (first come first serve basis). Our condo has been completely remodeled and offers location, location, location! Everything in the unit functions and if not we want to know and have it fixed immediately. If there is an amenity that you require and it is not listed here please assume it is not available with the unit and ask about it.

Why the Owner Chose Edelweiss Haus: We choose the Edelweiss Haus condo because of its proximity to the slopes and ease to catch the free city shuttle to most locations within Park City. The location is unbeatable. You are minutes from the slopes and close distance to most amenities like super markets, restaurants, movie theatres and Main Street Park City
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: This unit is unique because it has a front and back entrance and an open deck with views of the ski slopes. There is no street noise in the bedrooms because they face inwards towards the center of the complex and do not boarder the street. The back door leads to the pool and spa area and the front door lets you out feet from where the free city shuttle drops off and pick up.
Edelweiss Haus is extremely convenient to Park City Mountain. The community hot tub, while big, wasn't working properly during our stay. The pool was fairly large. The laundry facilities were adequate. The front desk provides change for the coin-operated machines.
The unit we rented was clean. However, it is in need of updating. The linens were fine, but the mattresses were uncomfortable & need to be replaced. The heat was hard to regulate. There is no view or private balcony with this unit. That said, it was reasonably price for a condo so close to the mountain.
We could walk to the lifts and it had all the basic amenities for 4 days of skiing. No complaints.
Stayed at Edelweiss Haus Condo to go snowboarding. the best thing about it is the location. Very convenient as it is across the street from Park City so we were able to walk to the lifts and hop on. Also took a trip to snowbird which was only about a 45 minute ride. Definitely would recommend for a few people to stay, would be tight for 6 people.
We enjoyed our stay as the weather (for the most part) was spring skiing type conditions. Lost out one day as a strong frontal system had 88 MPH winds that shut down the resort. Can't control mother nature. The unit is across the street and through the parking lot from the Park City resort chair lifts.
The condo unit was of ample space for us. The price was lower than most of the condo units in the area which was good, most likely due to how dated the furnishings are.
A loud double banging noise that periodically occurred day and night persisted throughout our stay (loud enough to wake one from their sleep). In fairness to the owner, he did have a repairman come out to resolve the issue, but the he determined that the issue was in an adjacent unit. We contacted the HOA to check into the matter, but unfortunately it was not resolved by our departure date. The owner did state that the issue was on his email as of Feb 3. Our rental started on Feb 16.
Another issue was no key to the back door that provided access to rhea pool/spa. Again in fairness, the owner had a locksmith come out to update the locks. The locksmith was able to find a key that worked with the HOA and did not need to change any of the locks.
If you are looking for location and economy, it was a nice unit.
Excellent location, just across the parking lot from ski lifts and walking distance from the Main Street.
The condo is cosy and well equipped and the owner is very helpful.
The only downside is that the bathroom and the kitchen could use an upgrade. Other than that, it's all good.
We had a great New Year's week stay in this condo. It is a great affordable place, very comfortable. And even on New Year's Eve, there was minimal noise at the Edelweiss Haus. The shuttle stop is in front of the condo building, so there is no significant walk to get there and the ski resort is the very next stop, so we were on the lift within about 10 minutes of leaving our condo.
Picture yourself 200 yards from the base of Park City Resort and ski lifts. Take the free shuttle directly in front of property and be at a ski lift within minutes or take a short leisurely stroll. The free shuttle also takes you to town where you can find Park City's Old Town (Main Street), Whole Foods, Starbucks and a variety of restaurants.
