Fronts on 200 ft. of splendid sandy beach in a rare reef protected cove. We enjoy sunny western exposure overlooking the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Excellent swimming, snorkeling and fabulous sunsets. Beach is just a few steps from our lanai past the pool and over the lawn. No roads to cross, no crowds! Developed in 1981, before extended setback requirements, Kahana Outrigger is a true “beach front” property!
Our deluxe condo is airy and spacious, 1,600 + sq. ft. including two lanais. Architectural post and beam design, tile floors throughout. Open plan kitchen/living/dining areas and Master Suite face the ocean. All on one level just five steps above grade.
We have three separate bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The Master Suite has a king bed, double closets, double basins and a large soaker tub. The King Suite has a king bed, double closets, large bath with twin basins and large shower. The Queen Suite has a queen bed with 3 piece bathroom. These are separate bedrooms, not open loft sleeping areas!

Luxury mattresses and foundations, wood headboards and end of bed benches, carved wood dressers and night tables, 500+ thread count 100% cotton linens and plush towels, desks, chairs, bar stools, leather love seat and deluxe 'Stylus' chesterfield in LR, 4 HD televisions, blueray, dvds, high def cable pkg., free wifi, internet and long distance to North America. Upgraded large and small appliances, silent Bosch DW, front loading washer/dryer, SxS fridge/freezer and slide in glass top range. Air conditioners in LR (2015) and 3 bedrooms (2013).
Kitchen super equipped. Everything you would expect to prep and serve gourmet meals, all spices included. Enjoy USA made Fiesta dinner service for 12, table linens, candles, coffee grinder, French press, coffee maker, slow cooker, rice cooker, food processor, blender, hand blender, beater, waffle iron, bar ware, etc… enjoy!
Infant supplies include: toddler bed (for under 50 lbs), packnplay/crib, sheets and wet proof pads, 2 strollers, high chair, baby gate, non toxic foam play mats, beach sun umbrella, toddler play table and two chairs, 2 booster seats, potty, exersaucer, bumbo, and step stools.
Extras include: HD cable pkg., wifi, free secure internet, free long distance to North America, room safes, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and board games. Also available for you to borrow: infant/toddler/youth life jackets and boogie boards. Enjoy!
All laundry is done in house, no perfumes, no dyes. This is our second home, we make an extra effort to equip and maintain for our guests to the same standard we expect for family.

Retired professionals with large family of 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren. We have vacationed in Hawaii numerous times since 1991 and wanted a winter home that could comfortably accommodate our family.
During many past vacations, always in ocean front properties, we often found the condos were inadequately equipped (e.g. dull kitchen knives, cheap dishes, poor mattresses and carpet that could simply never be clean). Our place would have to be better!

In late 2010 we extensively searched both Kauai and Maui. Our criteria being: sandy oceanfront, safe reef protected, no strong shore break for swimming, truly close to the beach with no road to cross, quiet location, no highrises, spacious 3 bedrooms, quality design. The Kahana Outrigger main floor condo is a "real standout" in all categories. We purchased in early 2011. We have made a great effort to obtain quality furnishings and equipment. Our expectations are high and we provide many extras so our guests can enjoy the same things that we appreciate.
Location, quality furnishings and equipment, superior cleaning. Great for allergy sufferers. Tile floors throughout (no carpet). Bedrooms have smooth surface wood furniture, no dust collecting wicker or rattan. All condo laundry is done in house with hypoallergenic laundry products that we also provide for guest use.
This was the perfect fit for my family as were we traveling with grown children and grandkids, the youngest one just 4 months old. We used the lovely pool everyday! The view of the ocean from the condo was beautiful and there were many days we looked into the sky to find a rainbow.
We found the description on vrbo was accurate and were not disappointed. Perfect spot when you want to find a home away from home.
We just returned from a 12 day stay in this fantastic beachfront condo. We were a party of six seniors and this condo met our needs perfectly. We loved the small intimate setting and the close proximity to the ocean. While the beach directly in front of the property ebbed and flowed with the tide, right next door was a huge perfect beach for using all of those incredible beach accessories that came with the condo. Great beach chairs, boogie boards, sand shoes, beach towels and children's toys. You don't need a thing but your swim suit.
The inside was equally well stocked so if you stay here, check it out before you go to Costco or the grocery. How many condos come with a sewing kit? The owners have gone above and beyond to make this place feel just like home. We spent many happy hours on the lanai just watching the ocean. The grounds and the pool were very well maintained on a regular basis and the light housekeeping visits were really nice to have.
The small complex means no waiting for elevators lots of lounge chairs around the pool. We grilled outside on the deck several times with the very nice gas grills that were provided. We even ate outside by the pool one evening. Very relaxing atmosphere. While we were all old guys, this place would be great to bring children or grandchildren.
There were a number of local restaurants that we enjoyed. Try China Boat for great Chinese Food and for those who like a little music, try the Java Jazz. Not far from Lahaina or from anywhere on the island. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful in all ways. Hope we can come back again one day soon.
This condo was very comfortable, spacious, and well stocked. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The small intimate beach is only a few steps away. We were so happy NOT to be in one of the huge mega resorts as we have been before, and also not to be in one of the many high rise condominium projects. This little section of Kahana has houses and low rise condominiums. The location is great for going out to dinner in Lahaina or even closer. This is the first time we have used VRBO, and I was surprised at first that I felt that I was in someone's home. So I had to remind myself that is what VRBO is and we would not have the intimate casual private atmosphere if we had gone the regular hotel route. I recommend this condo for families with children. The beach, pool and condo are all set for kids! I particularly liked the large windows and view. Also, there are large gas grills in the pool area. If you are adults without children, choose a week that is not during a school holiday or spring break -- actually that is true for all of Hawaii!
We loved the snorkel trip and zip lining. Our adult children took the road to Hana and had a blast. We also LOVED the Fish Market which is right down (south) the road a few blocks for fresh grilled fish. You can call ahead for take out. Beware that it closes at 7 p.m.! fishmarketmaui.com Maui Brewing Company is right around the corner -- food was good, not great, but it was fun. We also liked Lahaina Fish Company, especially sitting right on the water.
Stayed at this condo in March/ April of 2014, 4 adults and 4 children ( one was 15 months old). Plenty of room for everyone and all of our stuff.
Location was absolutely perfect, condo was very well stocked (one closet was loaded from floor to ceiling with toilet paper), spices, plates and pots, even spare light bulbs.
We stopped at Costco when we landed and loaded up on things, including toilet paper. Wouldn't hurt to head to condo for your first night, and return to Costco the next day after you've scoped it out.
Humpback whales from the lanai, giant sea turtles on the semi-private beach and the pool almost empty every day.
I will be back in 2016, and hopefully many more times afterwords.
Tip: if you are interested in renting longboards or snorkel trips to Molokini crater or Luau's, go downtown Lahhaina and sign up for one of the timeshare tours. Trust me, it's going to suck for an hour or two but you get $100 US and half price on all the activities and sports gear afterwards.

This 3 bed/Bath condo is stocked with everything one needs and more, very cozy, the view is outstanding, the pool and access to the beach is right there. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family. thank you so much for making the stay easy for us.
We stayed 10 days at this condo & found it to be everything as it was advertised. The condo was spacious, well equipped & clean. It's located in a beautiful location, close to shops & restaurants. The owners were very accommodating and answered every question we had quickly. We were lucky to have had the pleasure of watching whales & turtles right from our very own beach! We would definitely stay here again & would recommend this property to everyone.
