PLEASE NOTE: There is an on-going construction project directly next door to this property that is expected to continue through early 2017 and there may be some noise disturbance during the day (not on weekends, and not after 4:00pm). It is not generally not an issue for our Guests, but we do want you to be aware.
We are not able to accommodate any weddings or large events at the house.
This was our 2nd time staying at this house and still loved the location and views. The only bummer was the major construction happening right next door. It was very loud work that started at 7:30 and went until at least 5. Whereas the decks and pool were nice and relaxing our last visit, it certainly wasn't the case this time. We tried to be out at the beach as much as possible where the noise wasn't as noticeable. Hopefully the condos will be built soon so this beach house will be back to its tranquil self!
Our stay at The Captain's Townhouse was again unbelievable. This is our 2nd time staying at this location. The sunsets are gorgeous, the beach is fabulous, the house is very spacious and accommodating, it's close to several great restaurants and just a few blocks from John's Pass. It couldn't have been any better. We did visit many of the attractions that were less than 45 minutes away. The weather was absolutely perfect. I think we got a few drops of rain one morning, but by 9 o'clock, the sun was again shining. I would have liked the splash pool to be heated, but they no longer offer that option. I feel iTrip Vacations & our stay at The Captain's Townhouse have easily earned a 5 star rating.
This townhome was absolutely paradise! The pictures don't do it justice. We had plenty of space for all 8 of us. The views were amazing. We had perfect weather everyday we were there. Saw many dolphins and enjoyed the sound of the waves and the beautiful sunsets every night. We enjoyed John's Pass and also went to Clearwater just a short drive. The rental was quite easy and they were very helpful. We had no problems at all. Will definitely use I trip again and would rent this townhome again.
This townhouse was everything that we had hoped for. The little dune area in front of the house gave us some privacy and protection and was pretty to look at. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and go right down to the beach and walk. The shells were great to look at and find - such a variety!! We liked the walk to John's Pass and enjoyed eating at Friendly Fisherman. Our group consisted of 6 adults, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The decks were nice to enjoy dolphins and the warm sun and sunsets. The house was clean and well-maintained. The pictures represented the property very accurately and iTrip was excellent to work with.
We had two families of four for a total of eight people stay in the townhouse. There was plenty of space and it was very functional for us. The location is unbeatable. We spent every day on the beach - our children could even play on the beach while we watched from the deck off the living room. The kitchen offers great accommodations for preparing large meals or quick snacks. The walk to John's Pass is easy and convenient. And the candy Kitchen across the street was a favored daily ice cream stop. We can't wait to return.
We had an absolutely fabulous time, only criticism was that my husband had to sweep the decks of our balcony and pool area before we would let family use it, both full of sand etc. but, saying that we would stay here time and again, such a lovely, peaceful holiday. Plenty of room for all the family to mix or be quiet, such a great view of the beach etc. We visit here several times a year to catch up with family living in this area, home from home says it all, thank you.
