Charming and Beautifully Updated!
We stayed at Lew’s Cub House to ring in the New Year and it was immaculate. There were games, movies, and plenty of space for our group. The kitchen and bathroom were brand new and the rest of the house was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood is quaint and it was easy to get to. Cool Cabins was really helpful and check in/check out was seamless!

A trip to get away

Stayed in Lews Cub House and it was a Great cabin very nice and cozy
What an amazing cabin.
The cabin was clean, warm and cozy. My family enjoyed all the space this cabin had to offer
Quaint little house to stay at during the summer.
This house was in Sugarloaf. It's an okay area in the summer. If you wanted to be closer to the slopes during winter, we would recommend something closer to the ski resorts. The house itself is really nice. The kitchen is small but useful, and the owner provided tons of appliances for use (toaster, mixer, etc.). The queen bed was very comfortable with a nice mattress. The bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom are okay, but you can feel the springs in them.
Due to the shading, the house, especially the lower floor, stays cool in the summer (and it was 85-90 Fahrenheit when we were there, and that's probably a record high).
Everything was sparkling clean, and towels, etc. were provided by the rental company. It only has a single bathroom, which was fine for us, but if you have a larger party, though it can sleep seven people easily, you might consider if a single bathroom would work for your larger party.
All in all, we think it is nice for a family of three or four and we might stay again in the future.
Thank you for all of your time and useful feedback! We will be sure to look into the bunk beds and improving the mattresses. It HAS been extremely hot and we are glad that this cabin was shaded and comfortable for you. We hope you will return to Big Bear very soon and continue to stay with Cool Cabins for many vacations to come!
it was ok
I loved the place but the only problem was the toilet was broken the whole time we were there. They sent someone to try and repair the toilet but that would of left us the entire trip without a toilet.
I'm so sorry this issue occurred during your stay. We hope you will return to Big Bear and we will find you a fully functional cabin!
