About Jill Camrud

Randy Loff , the owner , was born and raised in Hungry Horse. A sportsman all his life, he knows the best places to fish and hunt in the Flathead Valley. The owner of a sporting goods store, he will set you up with fishing gear, and offer his advice on catching any fish species that thrive in the rivers and lakes of this area. Randy also recommends float trips, as rafting is excellent on the Flathead River. You can launch your raft only a few feet from the front door of your walk-out lower level apartment. In addition to hunting, fishing and rafting, Randy is your information source for hiking trails, fine restaurants, and area events.

Perfect location, simple, clean, quaint and beautiful scenery

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I wanted to stay someplace close to Glacier NP, this was perfect, except that we hadn't planned on West Glacier being closed due to the wildfires, so we did in fact have to drive a bit to East Glacier....but the drive was beautiful and worth every bit of the scenery in Glacier NP. The owners were very generous and helpful, we appreciated their accommodations very much and had a wonderful trip.

Good location

  • 4 of 5

The location was good. The kitchen was adequate for preparing meals. River frontage was lovely. The downside was the noise from the upstairs tenants. If you are not used to people living above you this may not be the right rental for you.

Very Basic but beautiful view.

  • 4 of 5

The accommodations had all the basics we needed. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.communicating with owners for booking and pre-arrival is slow.....be patient and plan for delayed response. Basically, the accommodation is a walk out basement of the owner's home. Plenty of privacy and a wonderful hammock our kids loved in the backyard overlooking the river. Very nice for morning coffee. Loved being so close to Glacier Park entrance which is a huge plus for us. The area is sparse on accommodations and amenities but you are much closer to the park than if you were to stay in Whitefish. Our 3 night stay was great.

Great view!

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our stay. Best part was relaxing in the hammock and being outside eating on the patio and enjoying the view of the river. Enjoyed putting the puzzle together also. Convenient to Glacier. Very accommodating host.
