Close to the beach. Close to the village. Great house with lots of space.
I appreciate your review. Thanks for choosing my property, and I hope you will consider it again should you come back to Siesta Key.
Over the top!
Great place for a family reunion. Celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our four children and six grandchildren, ages 1 thru 7.
Fantastic facility, perfect location, timely service from owners.
Beautiful property and loved the location, short walk to the beach and village
Property was missing some key amenities.
Upon entering the unit, our 8 yr old went to use the hall bathroom and the toilet paper mounting fell off and cut her toe;( It was obvious that it had fallen off a number of times as there were numerous holes in the wall. Then as we settled in for the evening after a day of air travel, the Wifi and Xfinity cable did not work. We called the owner who came over to try and correct the issue. This was Sunday, December 30th, 2018. The issue was not corrected and we were told that they would call Xfinity to correct the issue. A day later and another visit from owner who then told us that Xfinity would need to come out. We had no cable or internet til Friday, January 4th and that wasn't until early evening. Still not internet;( We were told by one of the owners that you don't come to the beach to watch TV? Well, I thought that was a rude comment to make as a family with younger children who enjoy watching a movie after a long day fishing and playing on the beach. I asked owner if she would be willing to compensate for this inconvenience as we were paying a night. Her answer was this was considered a "technical difficulty" and she would need to get back to us. We NEVER received an answer. My husband and I own rentals in our beach town and have ALWAYS worked with our renters to make their stay a pleasant one and I feel they did not go above and beyond for this issue. When I go on vacation, I do not want to have to spend an hour on the phone with Xfinity.
Siesta Key is a lovely place to visit but I would not recommend this property.
Colleen: Thank you for your candid review of your recent stay at our Vacation Rental property. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to improve with each and every stay. Moreover, know that I would like to apologize for not meeting your expectations at our Vacation Rental. I greatly regret that the toilet paper holder fell from the wall; as you know, when you called regarding the toilet paper holder, I responded and removed the holder from the bathroom, and returned the next day to repair it by using two additional drywall anchors and PowerGrab adhesive. Note that this was the first time the holder has ever fallen from the wall—and that I take pride in maintaining the property, and do my utmost to assure that everything is in working condition, and that the property is maintained to the highest standard. As to the "..numerous holes in the wall.." these were caused by the toilet paper holder's drywall anchors that were pulled from the wall when the holder fell.
As you are aware, the Comcast/Infinity CATV failed to operate, and as soon as notified, my son, and then me came over, and we were partially successful in getting it to operate on the downstairs TV. I returned on Monday, ran cable/LAN tests, and determined the problem was a bad downlink signal from Comcast, and that the repair was beyond my skills to repair. I contacted Comcast/Infinity that same day and they ran an offsite test that indicated the cable router and the X-1 Set Top Box (STB) were offline, and that an onsite repairman would have to dispatched. As I told you—due to the New Year's Holiday on Tuesday—Comcast/Infinity would not confirm a repairman prior to Thursday; indeed Comcast/Infinity reconfirmed the repairman on Wednesday to Friday due to scheduling difficulties. The repairman arrived as-scheduled on Friday, and as witnessed by your Dad, proceeded to determine that the problem was caused by a faulty F-Type connector on the outdoor telephone pole. The repairman replaced the part, and the Television/Internet access was immediately restored. I do not understand your comment of "...still no internet.." as the repairman stated that all systems were in order, and your review is the first indication that something was not correct. The Contract that you signed stated "...We occasionally experience utility outages that are beyond our control, and no refunds will be given...". I am sorry that we have not been able to resolve this matter to your satisfaction. Kind Regards - Jack & Vic

SIESTA KEY BEACHES ARE FANTASTIC!
Welcome to the one of America’s Best Beaches! Siesta Key has consistently been ranked as one of America’s top beaches, and in 2011, it was chosen as the #1 Beach in America.
With it’s expansive size - hundreds of yards wide and over 3 miles long - there is plenty of room for beachcombers and sunbathers alike
The beach is known for its clean, pure white sand which is not only beautiful, but is also soft and cool to the touch. Also, the sparkling aqua-marine water with its moderate Gulf temperature is clean, clear and inviting.
We are located within an easy walking distance to a long stretch of crystal-white sand of Siesta Key beaches that fronts the beautiful Gulf of Mexico—just minutes to the shops and restaurants of charming Siesta Key Village.
In addition to the many events on Siesta Key, you can enjoy various activities within a 15 minute drive to downtown - Sarasota offers theaters, golfing, boating, fishing and tennis. Orlando's Walt Disney World Complex, MGM Studios, Universal Theme parks and Tampa's Busch Gardens are within a short driving distance.
