About Nancy Darnold

My sister and I along with our husbands purchased this house to enjoy our true love of lakefront living. We have enjoyed many lakefront rentals throughout the years with our 6 children. We have so many fond memories and hope to enjoy future times along with our adult children. We hope to have many families will be able to create their own special lakeside memories to cherish in years to come in our home.

PEACE!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful week at this home. Nancy and her husband were attentive to our needs and clearly put a great deal of thought into how to make their guests stay comfortable and fun. The home is well furnished with several recliners and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The views are beautiful inside and out. We actually saw a bald eagle, a hundred geese, ducks, chipmunks, herons and a very cute cat. The canoe and kayaks are a great way to get on the water and as it is the quieter end of the lake we weren't bothered by motorboat traffic. The stargazing was spectacular and enjoyed by all. We are all missing that beautiful breeze and lovely view. We would love to come back again! Thanks again. Pam, Justine and Becca

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

There is nothing but good about this house. The location was on a quiet part of the lake and even with neighbors, still private. The owners have clearly gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything is available for a top-notch stay. Not only are there kayaks, a float, a dock with an umbrella and chairs, and a gas grill ready to go, but there is also a closet full of games for a rainy day, along with a variety of connections for your devices. They have paid attention to the small details: paper plates and napkins are available in abundance; there is a wide selection of dried herbs and spices; the kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance needed for cooking; citronella candles as well as butane lighters are available; coffee filters are provided; a variety of books sit on the shelves; and there is a jigsaw puzzle asking to be put together. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the common areas are inviting. I can't stress enough how impressed we were and how much we enjoyed our stay. This is a great getaway place for any season.

Great place to stay!

  • 4 of 5

The house was exactly as it was described. 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 super clean bathrooms, plenty of space and seating in both living areas, great view of the lake. The kitchen was large and nicely stocked with the basic necessities. We loved relaxing and fishing off the dock. Nancy was very attentive to any questions or needs we had. The neighbors were kind and welcoming as well. This part of the lake was very peaceful and quiet. Definitely plan to stay again next summer if possible.
