VERY PRIVATE ground floor END unit-just steps to the beach from the patio of the unit. Free trolley around all of Anna Maria island stops right across the street.
We really enjoyed our stay at Shell Cove. The unit has a fantastic view - right out to the ocean. The unit is very clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed visiting with our neighbors and soaking up the sun. We talked to the owners about one small problem and they had it fixed quickly. We would certainly recommend this property to family and friends. Thanks for sharing your property with us!
This is the second visit for my best friend and myself. We are both seniors and getting older and slower on moving around. This place meets all of our needs.
It's a corner, first floor unit that makes it so easy to bring in luggage and groceries. It also has plenty of Windows, which makes it so bright. More important is the view outside your front door and window, sand and water!!
Wendy has everything you need in the unit, from pots and pans to beach chairs and fishing poles. Having a washer and dryer means you don't have to pack a lot, which means your luggage is lighter!!
The condo is on the quieter side of the island and we have always felt safe here. You are close to Publix in one direction and Cortez Rd which takes you into Sarasota and Bradenton. Also we always find plenty of shells in the park on Cortez Beach.
Wendy is always available to answer questions or help you with something else you might need.

We could not have been more pleased with our Shell Cove condominium. We knew it was 'right on the beach,' -- but it was more than that. The beach was heaven, the sense of peace was expansive. We opened the door to our new unit -- and what a delightful surprise to have a perfectly appointed home all to ourselves. Modern and updated, tasteful and well-stocked. And the place was spotlessly clean! Having a washer-dryer in the unit was an extra plus. All beach equipment was right there: great beach chairs and umbrellas. The patio furniture was also comfortable for hanging out in the shade. Probably the nicest touch of all: the owners are great! We enjoyed total privacy, but if we needed ANYTHING, they were right there. We would go back in a second. We highly recommend this property.
We stayed at this beautiful condo on the beach and could not believe our good fortune! It was the end unit so it had an additional window that the other condos in this 12 condo unit did not have. That allowed for extra light. Another feature of being on the end was privacy. We felt very much like we were the only ones there. That was great!!
The beach is right outside the door and everything other than the beach (shops and restaurants) are within walking distance.
The condo is well kept, very clean and fully stocked with dishes, towels, cookware and utensils. There is a full size fridge and a stove for those that love to cook! It also has a washed and dryer. Gotta love that!
The owners take pride in their condo and it shows! I would definitely stay there again!!
The location was beautiful, just steps from an absolutely perfect beach. We watched the sunset every night and they were exceptional, with endless colors, now embedded in our memory. All this from our little table right outside the condo door, with our very own natural landscape of sea grapes, sea oats and other beach vegetation. It was so convenient, and such a privilege, to be able to enjoy the proximity of that beach and those sunsets. I walked the gorgeous beach every day and will always remember it.
As far as location on the island goes, it was just right: centrally located on Anna Maria and just the right distance to Bridge Street, Cortez Road, grocery shopping and all other necessary conveniences. Everything was within just a few minutes' drive.
Inside the condo, it was home away from home. Very clean. Very comfortable. Very well equipped. An above-average unit with updated, tasteful and pleasant décor.
We particularly enjoyed being part of a condo with just a few units. No noise, no crowds, just twelve units: a small community of beachgoers in a pleasantly low profile, unassuming building.
The booking process went very smoothly and the owners were great to deal with, checking in by phone to see if we needed anything, but respecting our privacy nonetheless.
We are owners of a vacation home we rent to others, and we hold to a high standard for our visitors. Also, we very often rent homes for our own vacations. So, take it from us, this unit is well above par. We would hope to return as soon as the next opportunity arises. Highly recommended. Five stars well deserved.
