Feel free to use your credit card to book this beautiful beachside home at no additional fee. Bring yourself and the family. We have the rest! Don't pay fees for beach chairs, umbrellas or bikes. Use ours.

2 bedroom, 1 bonus room, 1 bath home in a charming, quiet community has all the amenities you need for short stays, that special occasion, that special Daytona event, or for an extended snow bird stay. We accommodate a party of up to 4 adults (adult age is considered 18 and older) or a family of 6 with children .

What is a Bonus room? This is approximately 250 square feet of an extra living room/great room, an office, or bedroom. The room is equipped with a full size sleeper sofa, a desk and office chair, a recliner, and flat screen TV with blu-ray DVR. Do you have an internet surfer, children that need to watch DVDs, or someone that needs privacy? It does not have a door so it cannot be called a bedroom although it is our 3rd bedroom. Privacy divider provided. That’s our bonus room.

The home is modern with up to date appliances and furniture. Spacious kitchen with granite counter tops and tile floors. Wireless internet access with cable TV service. A 46 inch HD TV with sound bar is located in the living room with a blu-ray DVD player. Flat screen TVs with blu-ray DVD players are also in each bedrooms and the bonus room. A large screened Florida room is located on the back of the house furnished with outdoor cushioned furniture and a gas grill. Additional outdoor furniture is available to use on the small outdoor area near the Florida room or in the front of the home.

You can smell the sea salt when you open the door! Walk to the beach in a few minutes for the home front door to the public beach access ramps. See URLs at the very bottom of this listing to see beach sites. Beach chairs, boogie boards, a wheeled cooler, beach umbrella, beach bag and beach cart are available for use. We also have a children's wagon, baby gates, and a portable handicap seat for the tub (requested in advance). We have bikes in many sizes for your use. The home has a separate single car garage that is available for motorcycle parking or small cars.

There is plenty of room to park your boat, trailer or RV right outside the house on the oversized lot. A 6 ft. fence is located on each side of the property for privacy. A private oasis for that family vacation.

The home is fully stocked with sheets, blankets, towels, beach towels, dishes, summer dishes for use in the Florida room, glasses, wine and beer glasses, pots, pans, lots of electric appliances, baking dishes, utensils, beach items, and much more. We even stock spices in the kitchen! We have wine and beer glasses with an ice bucket to go with it. If you are looking for a quiet place in the sun, want to go swimming in the ocean, surfing, fishing, boating, walking or many other fun things, this Beach Home is the perfect place to stay.

Awesome people to deal with

We had planned to stay in this property on October 9-13. Unfortunately Hurricane Matthew changed our plans. Renee didn't hesitate to contact me and offer us a full refund. You don't find many people that would do that. We are hoping to return next year and we will definitely look for this house to stay in. Thank you again Renee!!!!!

Wonderful! Totally Wonderful

If you are looking to stay in a relaxed comfy home while at Ormond Beach, this is the place. Close to the shore or river and many points up and down the coast, then this is your departure point for daily adventures. We've made this our place to stay next year(s). The property was spotless inside and out. Sitting out on the enclosed patio with the cool breeze wafting by made for relaxing evenings. Quiet and private, didn't want to leave.

Very nice! Big living area, but small master bedroom.

Everything was very nice! We loved the huge kitchen and living room area. The screened in patio was nice in the mornings. It was really hot so we did not spend as much time out there as we would have liked! Thank you for letting us stay there!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to give this very nice review. We love the sunroom in the morning and evening. You can smell the sea salt. Our master bedroom is 10 ft. X 11 ft. Beach homes in our area are typically very small in square footage. We are a bit larger than the typical Ormond beach house in square footage and lot size. The kitchen and living room are oversized for a beach home.

Clean comfortable and has everything you need!

We loved our stay in this home in early June. The home was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked to make all of our meals. The beds in the bedrooms slept great and there were tons of sheets and towels for our multiple trips to the beach. Having only one shower was a little tricky, but we all had plenty of hot water. This home is very conveniently located near a Publix and there is a great pizza place as well. The renter was very gracious and helpful and had a great communication. There were problems with the air conditioner and she was very prompt have one someone come look at it.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. The original request received for “book it now” was declined due to the party size of 5 adults and 1 child. Our maximum adult limit is 4 to accommodate our guests comfortably in 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This is posted in our listing. The original request stated “Hello! We are a family of 6 and are excited to finally get to travel together and spend time on the beach. We have 3 kids over 18 and one who is 15.” This group exceeded our adult over 18 limit and was declined. After being contacted by the potential guest requesting an explanation for being turned down for the booking, we reconsidered and booked the request. The communication stated “I am confused and wonder why we were turned down for this rental. My husband and I have 4 kids--2 are 20, one is 17 and one is 15” This was different from the original request and the ages were changed. I talked to the renter via telephone and moved our rental schedule to accommodate their request. The review stated “Having only one shower was a little trickyI” this was a known fact of the property prior to rental and should not be looked at as a negative part of the property. I believe this rental party would have benefited from renting a larger property with 3 or 4 bedrooms and at least 2 bathrooms to make their stay more comfortable. A larger property typically is more expensive, however would have accommodated this party better. The heat index exceeded 100 degrees during this rental period. At 10:00 a.m. on the 4th day of the 5 day rental, I noticed the temperature in the house had risen by 4 degree. I called the renter and asked if they were experiencing a problem with the air. The air conditioning contractor was advised immediately. At 1:00 p.m. the renter advised they were having lunch, it was a little warm, but ok. He arrived at the property at 4:00 p.m. The guests had left the property to go swimming about that time. The contractor advised the air conditioning coils were frozen; he thawed the unit out, all pressures were normal, everything running correctly. This situation usually will happen when doors and windows are open and the air conditioner is on. It took several hours for the house to return to the correct temperature and remove the excessive amount of humidity from the property. The unit has been running with no issues after the renters left the property. Guest comfort is extremely important to us and is reflected in other reviews.

We are a short walk to Public Beach access. See our video 'Walk to the beach from the Yellow Sunshine Beach Home' at the bottom of this listing. Tom Renick Park is a short drive away for children with playground equipment right on the beach! No parking fees. There is also a Dollar General Store and Publix Grocery for those items you need during your stay. Publix's also has a liquor store. There are local shops and fishing stores a few blocks away. Banks all within walking distance. Close proximity to all major attractions like Disney World, St. Augustine, Sea World. You can take a walk on the beach or go fishing. There are many local restaurants for your enjoyment. Take a short drive up to Flagler Beach for surfing and the real beach atmosphere.

Property polices: No pets, no smoking on property, and minimum rental age of 25 (entire group must be 25 or older unless accompanied by parent or guardian.)

We do not permit charging of electric or hybrid vehicles through the electricity of the property.

$250.00 refundable damage security deposit after property inspection. Non-refundable damage insurance cannot substitute for deposit.

Cancellation Policy: 60 day or more before reservation date, 100 percent of funds will be refunded. Less than 60 days, 50 percent of funds will be refunded, and less than 30 days prior to arrival 0 percent of funds will be refunded.
